I had a 2013 Phantom and I put a Mustang seat. It was amazing comfortable for our 2 up trip from Toronto to Cabot Trail. You also have the option for a rider's backrest which makes it even more comfortable...

The CB500X has everything you want in your criteria. The only thing I see lacking is the hp you want as this bike is only 47 hp at 430 lbs. You can buy one brand new and still have money left over for accessories with your budget. I have one and I love it, you'd be hard pressed to find any...

You're going to want to buy a Mustang or other aftermarket seat for that. You will see soon when you take it out for a longer ride. I know because I had a 2013, unless they changed the seat. Other than that it is a sweet bike.
