The collision was reported to the CRC but the CRC doesn't report to the insurance company.

Why would I pay deductible on his claim?

That's another thing that I'm concerned about. I have no guarantee he won't take my money and then go to insurance. The collision is already reported and I'm 100% at fault here. I can have him sign a contract, but I'm not sure how enforceable it is.

Their estimate is not an estimate really, just a total of all the parts. I forgot to mention that there was no estimate done on the repair costs. He showed up to the dealer with pictures and rung up all all the totals for the parts.

I'm concerned that over the span of years to come, I'll pay waaay more than $2k in increased premiums.

Thanks for all the responses guys. To clarify on some comments: The estimate I posted can be zoomed in by clicking on the picture. The price quoted there is simply the total of all the parts that he listed. Labour not included. If this was my bike, I'd want the other guy to fix everything...
