one of the worst falls I remember for riding

Heated jacket and grips are one of the best investments I have made, extends the riding season on both ends.

Did this area the 2nd week of September and unfortunately is rained or drizzled the entire trip. Going through Hawk's Nest not so nice in traffic and rain! But I will try again next year. Spent most of the time in the Catskills--great riding area.

I use Trye as well, but find I need to drop a lot of waypoints to keep my GPS from finding creative, and often gravel routes, between the waypoints. Is there something that I am doing wrong? My GPS is a TomTom Rider.

Have a top box (46L) on my VFR and had a (36L) on my Blackbird. Honestly never really noticed the impact in the wind unless with a real strong side wind. I only use the top box on trips and your FJR will look fine with the big one! You can never have too much space for packing for...

you can see in my signature that I started on a 400 worked my way up to a 1200 and now back down to a 800. I found things I loved about each one of them, but really happy with the VFR now...stay tuned

did many of the same routes this past weekend with a group. Quite surprised that we did not see a lot of other riders since the roads are pretty fun. Towns were very busy as the holiday weekend but otherwise good to go! 141 one of my favs for sure

the way I see it, riding in the rain is a lot better than not riding at all!
