    Put my deposit down

When I first saw the price in this thread I thought "wow, that's a lot of coin to drop on a bike". Then I saw he divorced two years ago and my thought was "Good for him, I completely understand". Congrats buddy, that's one hell of a bike. I'm jealous.

Need car now that it's cold. Any good audi dealer in west end??

Why new? Save yourself some money and buy off lease. You can purchase Audi CPA on a used Audi even if you didn't buy it through them.

    Brakes feel 'spongy' at highway...

Do you have a vibration at highway speed (not on the brakes)? Tires changed recently? Dropped the bike recently? I have a tough time believing that it's the brake fluid or air in the system on a 2011 bike. After asking the above questions I would bleed the system though more as a diagnosis...

    Out of jurisdiction police

Answer 1: Yes, they can. This isn't TV where they can't pursue or charge across state lines. Answer 2: Police cars are GPS tracked. Dispactch knws where the cars are and the officers have called in a status. You can call it in if you like, they'll thank you for your call.

    motorcycle tire changing ??

With a set of spoons there's no reason why you shouldn't be able to change tires with it. I've done them with a pail and spoons.

How Prevalent is Racism in Our Society?

I haven't noticed a lot of racism in Canada, mind you I'm white. Yes, I've met racist people who through out slurs based on race. But I haven't really seem anything more than ignorant comments from low class scum. I haven't seen racism in hiring practices either, I don't care what race, sexual...

    Frame Slider - Spring

I've never seen direct impact damage from frame sliders, it's always been damage from the slider catching on something and bending / snapping that's caused damage to the frame.

New rider trying to lube chain for first time

^^^ this is incorrect. The chain should almost hit the swingarm on most bikes (at the bottom) with proper adjustment. 1 1/3" isn't going to cut it unless you;re measuring with your weight on the seat. Tightening the chain too much will prevent the rear suspension from being able to work as it'll...

    Single Cylinder?

Single cylinders have a couple drawbacks compared to multi-cylinder engines: 1. If there is an ignition or carb problem on a single cylinder it's going to be more pronounced. If the spark plug is shorted or the coil fails you're not going anywhere. Compared to an inline-four if you drop a...

Fire Department bills me for nothing

Ambulances do charge for the ride to the hospital, I don't know if they charge for transfers from one medical centre to another but to the initial medical centre they do. I've received bills a couple months later from the medical centre themselves for the ride.

TMP long weekend Sept 1,2,3 & intro school

It's easier to hang off further this way as your knee can bend rather than twisting and possibly slipping off the peg. It also makes it a lot less tiring weighting the outside peg on corner exit as well.

TMP long weekend Sept 1,2,3 & intro school

That's what I teach beginners. When I lead on the track I exaggerate body position regardless of speed to get people to lean off more. People who aren't used to it feel that half a cheek is hanging off really far. Back of the thigh on the seat and outside elbow as a psychological anchor on the...
