To my surprise, they have done an amazing job with addressing heat on the V4 Multi....presumably this is partially due to the deactivation of the rear cylinders when at stops in warm temps. It is the "coolest" Ducati i've owned....that's not to say the heat isn't there, but they've done great...
It’s a shame, because the loss of Town Moto has really left a gap in the “scene”. Though not everyone’s cup of tea (not really mine tbh), they certainly promoted motorcycles/motorcycling and brought people together.
I had an R9T….beautiful bike. The suspension didn’t agree with my weight. I also hated the fact that the tank needs to be removed to replace the battery.
Definitely not “reasonably priced”! I paid $9600 for a brand new SP1 in 2002….and the SP2 has the upgrades which would make it more valuable imho. An RC30/RC45 this is not, but clearly people have too much money to throw around 😂
I’ve had great experiences with Budds. Sales and service. Wife has had the same positive experiences. BMW Toronto could hardly be bothered to give her pricing, so she called Budds and ended up putting down a deposit same day.
I paid $9600 for a new 2001 RC51 back in 2002. It’s insane what some people are looking to get for them now! Great bike, but it’s NOT an RC30/45. If this was mint with Moriwaki/Sato exhaust, Penske rear shock, etc….and if it was a 2002+ MAYBE it might fetch closer to what this one is priced at...
It’s only 2 years old! It was mis-routed and way too close to the engine….cover melted and it corroded. Was actually fine until I re-routed it….then it crapped out.
I did this week before last….found that my chute adjustment cable is toast (thankfully it worked the last time I needed it). The price of a replacement is insane, so I might just do a manual adjustment hack with a plastic knob instead.
I guess it’s been a while since you’ve had work done at GP….but their rate is now $125/hour! 😱
But….a meal at McDonald’s is now $12, so it’s all relative….inflation and all that 😂
You can actually call the “toxic taxi” in Toronto and they will come and pick up your household hazardous waste. BUT….be careful putting oil in other containers….if using non-oil containers, make sure they are clearly marked.
