Apparently the motors can overheat and catch fire.

question I have is why do some riders put a sport tire on the front and sport touring on the rear? I've heard the whole rear wears faster argument so the st tire should wear evenly with the front, but it doesn't seem logical from a handling and safety pov.
Welcome to riding, great bike to start on.
I had a bike safetied at Dave's Garage in Aurora a few years ago, honest guys that pointed out what passed but would need attention in the future without trying to sell me "right now". They thoroughly looked the bike over, something that doesn't...
I wouldn't hesitate for a second to have one of my kids drive a Matrix. One of the best cars ever built imo...safe, efficient, reliable and sporty. Do it, you won't regret it.
I ended up ordering a set of oem Yamaha led signals.
Trying to install them and am running into a hyperflash issue. Yamaha's site does state they flash at the faster euro spec but I would like to keep them at the normal NA flash rate. Funny thing is with the rears installed with the provided...

Y'all were smiling and laughing like you were really excited about whatever adventure you were about to embark on. Not gonna lie, I was a bit jealous lol.

I've done it 3 times with my local CT, first time wasn't great. 3 days to get the notice it was ready, then about 40 minutes wait time after checking in. That was close to the start of it all.
Last two times order was ready within 24 hours and picked up within 5 minutes of checking in.

Good on the cop for taking the child's welfare into...
You don't have to go to the dealer to maintain your warranty but you do need service records showing it was done, and done properly. The advice of do it yourself is well meant but I've seen it when people do their own, don't have proper records then warranty is denied when something goes wrong.
