All that happened his van was impounded on the spot, license suspended for 7 days etc but we were scared of the judge being strict and him being sent behind bars on the hearing. After all he just got his license Jan 2011 and the young blood in him is still on a boil. There were lots of chances...
My Nephew was in big big trouble...g2 ...got 135 in 60 zone on his van overtaking a friend on motorcycle...they could not catch the motorcycle but got got him well...to add to the situation, he had one speeding ticket (+20km) before this...and to Top it all it was in Caledon.
We contacted Mr...
Law Society will take matters very seriously. I would strongly stress that you send everything to Law Society. I know quite a few lawyers and once they get letter from Law Society, their sleepless nights start. Law Society will certainly look into the matter. Who so ever is saying that it won't...
So, went and test rode one...this was 2010 touring...well, I was not smiling molar to molar after the ride...Here are my observations...sorry, if I offend anybody...
1. Too much engine noise...my C109 with stock exhaust never had that kind of noice and now with side burners there is none...
2...
That is the level I want to reach at...I think I will have to buy a harley next just to keep that skill. My c109 has big 240 tire and does not want to lean that much, also it is a longer motorcycle so the turning radius is bigger
Congratulations Kirerider....I was positive about you passing the course, personally, I am of the opinion that Canadians are better riders. In our session there were 7 riders, one dropped out the second day as he was having lots of issues with all the exercises. Out of remaining 6 only 2 of us...
Hi friends,
I have a Suzuki Boulevard C109 and now thinking of taking my ride a step up. I tested Triumph Rocket III Touring at GP Bikes. I liked the motorcycle, the only concern is that it does not have the V-twin sound. I think there are not may loud pipes available for it also. Any valuable...
Try practising slow speed controls I.e. Friction zone. Also, the deciding factor for the test would be emergency braking at 30mph. If you reach 30mph during practice runs then only u would be allowed to take test. So practice that when ever u can. Friction zone practice can be done in stop and...
Best of luck. Remember to take leather jacket and a light jacket for slow speed. They would only let you take the test if u perform well. I can teach u a few basics if u want. Good decision though. Keep us updated.
Just another bit of informaiton...You need leather jacket for Road Speed exercises only. For the slow speed you just need a full sleeves shirt and gloves.
There was one...She wasn't that hot...BUT...Harleys made her LEGS very HOT. I will qoute her, "Heat from Harley goes right into the most initmate parts"
All good experiences come to and end. So, finally the course is over. Last day was hectic. We started with emergency braking with two sharp turns (evasive). Started at 15mph then 20 then 25 and at last 30 mph. Everybody had to complete the whole sequence before moving on the next speed level...
This is a no nonsense place. Doug & Jerry are hardcore old school trainers. They are not there to please you when you are practising, they are there to teach you the skills, the way they should be taught. I have taken pro rider courses both at Humber and RTI, I passed my M with no points at...
Another busy day. Losts of practice with new challenges thrown in. 90 degree turns and 90 degrees pull outs; 180 degrees turns; 8 shape challenge. Fun day. You can't imagine how many times the harleys were dropped. But your friend did not drop once. Don't want to jinx it. I can't stress more...
Today was the first day of the course. Half day was theory and the rest of the day practice on Harley Road Kings. A very nice course so far. By the end of today's class Harley's felt as if they are 125 cc cruisers. Three more full days to go, lets see what all is taught but it looks like a very...
Course or no course...you are missing the very basic requirements for safety. Proper gear is an investment you make on yourself and your life. Please get proper gear right away. My friend, you are taking big risk just to save a few dollars.
Regarding your question, without proper gear you will...
