    Car tires (summer)

I had GT Radial snows on my work van.....Best snow and ice traction I have ever experienced, and great price- $740 all in, for 16" E rated 10 ply tires for a 3500 series van....and the noisiest tire in existence-I took the van in twice for wheel bearings, and the bearings were fine. Come spring...

    Car tires (summer)

The Tire Guys in Cambridge. Last yr they bought whole containers of Dunlops and Contis. I have winters, so I didn't need all seasons. I called about true summer tires, a few that I had researched and decided they had good reviews. I would have preferred Conti Eco-Contacts but they didn't have...

    Shipping Crate

When I sold my ZX7, I asked my local Suzuki dealer to save a crate for me. A week later they had a Hayabusa crate for me for free. I removed the ZX's mirrors, saran wrapped the bike, and strapped it into the crate, and sent it off.

    Walking Dead (Spoliers)

My wife and I were both like "WTF?" at the end of the episode....then as Tim said, at least the preview for next one looks like some action is coming.

    Walking Dead (Spoliers)

Yup. The last 2 sucked. They wasted more than 5 minutes of Maggie zoned out about a zombie locked in a trunk. Did nothing for the story.

    Ram 1500 Eco Diesel Review

If you are driving 10-15K/yr, you will take forever to save enough $ on fuel to make the diesel option pay off. I have a buddy who leased a Jetta, and did the math . His lease allowed him a max of 20K/yr. The diesel saved him about $20/ tankful, but cost 5 grand more to start. So it would take...

    project bike

Is it something cool at least? Wes Cooley replica? CX650 Turbo? NSR400? Vmax? Hurricane? Or is it a clapped out CX500 shaftie?

    Ram 1500 Eco Diesel Review

Sandro- I was excited by that stuff a few yrs back too- but lets be honest- it is a test by Ford's own engineering team, not an impartial test crew. I have a few friends with EcoBoost trucks. Most love them, and all say they have lots of power. Some say they get pretty good mileage but none say...

    Ram 1500 Eco Diesel Review

That sucks- They are missing out on many companies that might opt for the diesel in their base model fleet work trucks.

    Ram 1500 Eco Diesel Review

Yikes. I like the Eco Diesel alot, but for an extra $17,000? (of course some of that was the other options not just the drivetrain)....I had no idea there was such a huge difference in price. We highway drove Tyler's heavily optioned Hemi to Indy and back (It got better economy with me driving...

What did you do to your Race/Track Bike today - 2014

Brian P has those on his FZR's magnesium wheels....neat design.....with the torque load pushing directly from rotor to carrier, and the button interface simply holding the rotor in place left to right. Once you take a good look at it, it's a surprise the OEM's haven't done this

What did you do to your Race/Track Bike today - 2014

Got cheap Arashi ones on the 929. They work great...and a pair is half the price of a single from Honda. I did alot of research before I bought them....and found a fellow racing a 945 in England who has been running two sets of them on his dry and rain wheelsfor 4 yrs with no problems. Endurance...

    Road Biking - Anyone ?

I have both Roadie and MTB. I almost never ride the roadie- too dangerous sharing asphalt with texting drivers....especially with the huge closing speeds between cycles and cars. At least in the woods it's just trees and rocks trying to kill me-not cars and trucks. I find the roadie better for...

    Elio: Gas 3 wheeled "Car"

Economy may be right. A Ninja 900 wouldn't get that kind of mileage, but it's tuned for 140 hp. If the 900cc motor were tuned for 40 hp, I am sure it could get twice the economy a Ninja would. Furthermore, an average 4 door sedan is significantly more aerodynamic than a sportbike- this 3 wheeled...

Tire Opinion ~ Looking for a good street tires that will do 1 or 2 track days a year

JayV's team did an endurance race on a set of Q3's last yr. I was amazed at how fast they can be ridden. Track days have short sessions so they will be great- In an endurance race with extended riding, they can get greasy when overheated.

    CargoSmart S-Curve Ramp?

I use a short and wide tri-fold ramp. If I can't find a slight hill or curb to park the front wheels on, I have a pair of ramps I drive the nose of my van up onto.....raise the nose = lowering the rear and tipping the approach angle down.

How do you get each successive layer of epoxy to bond enough to the last layer? I have always wanted to try this.

    Sportbike dolly - paddock lift

The Squids for Kids Honda Fireblade has been using one of these for 2 seasons- flawless. We chose it because the bike has no factory spool mounts, and the GP style banana swingarm that has different height arms on the right and left side of the wheel make it difficult to get a stand to work on...

    Moto Guzzi or Ducati?

The V7 sounds like heaven, and looks the best given the options. It's price is good too. It is light, and very easy to manage with a low seat height. It is slow. But it is fast enough to fill the roll the bike was built for, and gets great fuel economy. The Guzzis are known for being...
