Even wetness from car AC dripping on the road, quite possible at slow spots like a roundabout, will cause a sudden loss in traction as you ride over that spot.

It was awesome to see so many bikes on the endurance grid last round. And it truly is the most laps/ $ in SOAR racing......or any Canadian racing period. Put 3 riders together on just about any old bike and c'mon out!
As far as slippers in LE.....I interpretted it as this: As soon as bikes become eligible due to their age, and those bikes came OEM from the factory with a slipper, then retrofitting any other bikes in the class was allowed.

Alpinestar Ridge is a waterproof boot that fits the budget.
Not great safety-wise, but still alot better than shoes.
