From what I read, big explosion #1 was equivalent to 2.7 tonnes of TNT...the next, and really huge was was equivalent to 19 tonnes of TNT. Yikes.

Front end feeling vague/almost wash out

diesel spill? Even wetness from car AC dripping on the road, quite possible at slow spots like a roundabout, will cause a sudden loss in traction as you ride over that spot.

    Southwood Rd. JULY 28 2015

I used to think northern Ontario roads were awesome. Until I saw some awesome roads. If I ride in Ontario, it's just for the purpose of getting out of Ontario. Ski country in NY and PA is no farther from home than the Muskokas are-with less traffic, cheaper gas and motels, and cops that write...

Leg out before knee down, why ?

I am with soto on this one. Adds weight to the front end, increasing braking traction available without putting the weight over the nose which would only increase the tendency to stoppie.

Trying to compare a couple of tires - any ideas?

Continental....>Why go bias ply? Radial last longer, better grip, softer carcass and nicer ride. Use the 130/80/18 rear, and either the 100 or 110 front. Great tires. https://www.conti-online.com/www/motorcycle_de_en/themes/motorcycletires/sport_touring/contiroadattack2_en.html

    Tire contingency?

Newman and his teamate Clive are GTU....Minion is now on an SV so he is GTU. It was awesome to see so many bikes on the endurance grid last round. And it truly is the most laps/ $ in SOAR racing......or any Canadian racing period. Put 3 riders together on just about any old bike and c'mon out!

What did you do to your Race/Track Bike today - 2014

As far as slippers in LE.....I interpretted it as this: As soon as bikes become eligible due to their age, and those bikes came OEM from the factory with a slipper, then retrofitting any other bikes in the class was allowed. Maybe I am wrong? If Lost Era is to be seen as a vintage class, then...

Yup-That's my second favourite boot. Better looking and way nicer to walk in than the Sidis....but a bit less protective.

Need gloves/boots for touring season. Recommendations?

Alpinestar Ridge is a waterproof boot that fits the budget. Not great safety-wise, but still alot better than shoes. For me, I would like Sidi Gore Tex ADV boots...but $500+
