Im from NS, the south shore, i love riding the Lighthouse route. It basically runs halifax south to Digby. I was just there last month, watch out for deer the population exploded this year. Plus all the cross roads from Digby too Liverpool and Ross Road are wonderful. I will be on all these...

I stopped riding for 15 years..only had a 750cc. Now jumped back in with a 1340cc harley...$276 basic for the year. Then bought a 1300cc vtx..$325 basic coverage for the year. Google ..."The Personal" insurance company. As for your son..can't help but they will tell you. Goodluck and welcome...

Rode up to Carthew Bay and Eight Mile point. Lakeshore Road E. to Carthew Bay is tree covered and with the leaves changing it is worth seeing. Ended up in Orillia then Old Barrie road home. Not a twisty road ride but a comfortable trip. Approx 2 hours round trip from Barrie.

Anyone in the Barrie area doing the Cannonball 500 next weekend?
