Correct. If the valve clearances were not checked/serviced and the spark plugs not replaced at 24K savvy buyers will likely expect $750 to $1000 knocked-off the price immediately depending what you're asking. At 25K mileage expect prospective buyers to also scrutinize the chain, sprockets and...
Like many riders this time of the year, shopping around and comparing quotes feels like a tedious and time-consuming, but necessary, process to obtaining the best rates.
I've spoken with several brokers over the past few days, some who are seasoned riders and have covered fellow motorcyclists...
Interesting article over at driving.ca examining why insurance rates are typically highest in Ontario relative to other provinces, notably Quebec. One big factor, apparently insurance fraud has become a major problem here in Ontario. It's a system in desperate need of a reform:
"Ontarians buy...
Strolled through the show Friday evening. Crowds were light and no lineups. Able to throw a leg over several bikes. Great variety of new/used/classic and custom bikes to feast your eyes on; also the usual salami and flea market vendors to help you thwart the winter riding blues.
Bought a Shoei...
I'm not crazy about the front end either. Seems to have lost sharp profile of the nose that I love about the '09-'12.
Tail looks ok, reminiscent of the '16+ ZX-10R --which begs the question, why didn't Kawasaki pick-up MORE styling cues from the latest gen ZX-10R? That's exactly what Yamaha did...
It's funny you should say that. Yes, the sound is intoxicating, but ride most sport/SS bikes or anything on 2 wheels for any length of time and sooner or later you'll find yourself reaching for earplugs.
I wear those orange-coloured earplugs that reduce noise by 33db, I wear a Shoei RF1200...
I wouldn't characterize this as a retro design look. More like your typical japanese inline 4 sport naked, complete with the akward-shaped single headlight and upper fairing. Not really my cup of tea.

"Before the Mac Truck a 78 CB400..after the Mac 99 CBR600F4... Maybe I need something with ABS lol.." --well, yeah, I'd try something way newer. The '78 CB400 -- that's a 40-year old bike! And the '99 CBR is pushing 20 years. I wouldn't feel confident on either of the these bikes.
Aside from...
You describe the (fairly common) scenario of sitting in traffic on a 400 series highway, "due to an accident up ahead" --which could easily occur just about anywhere-- and this would compel you to lane split? I don't get it.
Stop creating excuses in your mind. Bite the bullet and reconcile that...
Bring it on!
Add to this, the ever rising volume of vehicles clogging city streets, irrational and aggressive drivers, and the focus required to successfully navigate to/from work via motorcycle on a regular basis becomes an all-out physical and mental challenge. I've personally come to embrace...
LOL you said it.
It's been a great fall weather-wise.
Curious what the Farmer's Almanac said.

Exactly. Motorcycling is no more dangerous than driving, base jumping, skiing, flying, or whatever. Just walking down the street as a pedestrian you can be ploughed down.
Option 6: keep your small car and get a fold-up trailer. It will all fit nicely into a single car spot. Check out the T1180 4'x8' folding trailer here: http://salterboat.com/trailers/ --this is the same trailer I have. It's fantastic. I bought a wheel chock from Princess Auto and bolt it to an...
Oh brother...you know you're completely done with motorcycles when:
This is sadly one of the longest running myths --that motorcycling is inherently "risky".
I'm of the mindset that motorcycling is a very safe and economical form of transportation. Environmentally, we have a lower carbon...
