    Universal Tachometer/Speedometer?

Anyone have experience with these cheap aftermarket tachometer/speedometers like below, or alternative recommendations? In particular, any insight on adding this relatively modern sportbikes? I'm making my '09 ZX6R into a naked ride so deleting the RAM/fairing stay along with OEM speedometer as...

    Alternative Hardware?

That was the wrong photo, it's actually a bit thicker and spongier: But yeah, I'll give those aftermarket fairing grommet + collar kit a go. I may try to thicken it up to match by gluing on some "ring sections" from some other rubber material. Way better than spending ~$30 but 2 pairs if not...

    Alternative Hardware?

I might need to modify the grommets from Ali anyway so may have to do something like this! The ones from Ali are hard rubber and doesn't seem not thick enough to clear the lip of the taillight unit. But they seem cheap enough shipped to be a good base to work with.

    Alternative Hardware?

No 3D printer but something I'm looking at next year. Parts website lists as "Damper 10X20X12" so I'm guessing those are the approximate dimensions. For now just to get my bike going, I'll give the Ali kit a try maybe then since it's an LED integrated tailight.

    Alternative Hardware?

I'm rebuilding/customizing an old 09' ZX6R and wondering if there are alternative parts or even similar hardware to secure this taillight? OEM parts are almost $30 for just 2 rubber grommets (10X20X12) and 2 sleeves/collars for an M6 bolts!. The oem bolts are $7 for a pair but thinking maybe...

    Cafe/Street Fighter Lights

Thanks guys for the info. I must have misread somewhere else that says lights must be DOT certified. Yes, I'm just cosmetically modifying a standard production bike which will include lights and mirrors. Now I can be more more confident in moving ahead in selecting parts.

    Cafe/Street Fighter Lights

Anyone have experiencing building bikes with custom headlights sourced from eBay/Alliexpress and getting the bike safetied? All lights require DOT certification and that limits the selection quite a bit. Anyone have experience getting a custom bike safetied and any concerns around...

Check safety for M road test?

The bulb is there and flashes. It's just missing the cover. Maybe I'll grab some random amber cover and duct tape secure it for the test.

Check safety for M road test?

Will the tester care if my bike is missing a front amber color signal lens cap? I have an '89 JDM import bike and can't get the lens cap from Japan in time. Not sure if they would care about that but I believe it wouldn't pass safety if you're missing one. Thanks.

Tire warmer newbie - some opinions on tires please

Side question but still related: what pressure should Q3 be for track? I've heard 30/30 or 32/30 hot but I have seen people say numbers all over the chart.

Olds Cool... Post-up Pics of your 10 year or older bike!

It's been dropped both sides. Scuffs on the covers and mirrors and slightly bent lever. Some dull on the front forks and rusty bits here and there.. By I can't complain as the price was decent... Now to hunt for parts :(
