The wife handles the official charity giving... knight's table, sick kids, Sally Ann women/children shelter, etc.. I do "direct" donating... give out groceries, clothes, equipment, etc.. to homeless people.. things like that.

I'm going to guess that the packages were redirected thru another carrier.. and the old CP labels just went covered when they were relabelled. Companies are redirecting their freight.. we redirected 94K packages last week. The "gig" couriers are going places they weren't before the strike...

Are they delivering directly for CP? Where are they picking it up from? A CP sorting facility?

Purolator and Fedex are overwhelmed.. significant backlogs.. limiting what some customers can ship thru them... and turning away others. Same thing with some of the gig carriers.

Does CP actually want to use gig workers/contractors.. or does it want to use PT and temps?
