I saw the cyber truck on the road for the first time yesterday... It looks ridiculous driving on city streets. I also saw the Hummer EV a while ago... It looked almost as ridiculous as I thought people driving H2s in the city looked.. but not as bad as the cyber truck.

Amazon will be difficult to unionize.. It has contingency plans in place to prevent it.. similar to what you're seeing happen in Quebec. Amazon has empty warehouses ready to go.. companies that are ready and willing to take over portions of its operations if necessary.. etc.

It's part of what I do.. Lots of companies break the rules.. pay the fine.. and continue on same as before... some over and over again. Fiera foods is a well known example. There's lists of offenders on gov sites.

non competes are an easy topic to search.. google will take you to many lawyer's pages discussing the topic.. canlii.. and the rulings on the subject.

You didn't need a union lawyer.. 5 minutes on google to learn about common laws regarding non-competes and you'd have been good.

I just replaced my furnace with a similar unit you mentioned... old one was 25 years old. Board gave out Friday night. $4050 for the furnace, install.. some duct work and repairing some f'ups from previous work. Had it scheduled for Monday.. tech called Saturday night and said he would do it...
