My sister is good at this. She gets a price then says to the guy "we'll be here x days, we don't need any service beyond fresh towels and I'm paying cash can you do it for XYZ" She often gets a smoking deal.
Of course that only works if you're riding a particular for a number of days.

What chance? It's not like a bad plug is catastrophic.
I was changing plugs thru the winter in my old 2 stroke sled, but now that I think about it I can't really recall when I last changed plugs on a 4 stroke. Good chance my KLR with 60,000km on the clock has the original plugs.

Inglis has it for $789 but will honor the 20% off for the sale they on mext week.

Was shopping for a lid today and found the AGV K6 ($632) . It's a carbon fibre helmet so it's quite light and best of all I can get it in plain white. One of the few makers whose willing to paint CF it appears.
Anybody got one? Any good reason not to pull the trigger?
Fired up the drag wing for the first time. Once it wakes up it seems to go. The straight pipes arn't too obnoxious. I expected worse.
Other than the tailpiece and a few minor finishing touches it's done.
That smoke at the end doesn't worry me. I used grease to hold the exhaust gaskets in place...
Could be seeing a big uptick in the price of RVs as everyone decides to go camping instead of head to the US. A buddy just bought a trailer and the salesman was saying sales have been brisk.
