    ABS promotion or ABS deception?

It has to work properly 100 percent of the time PERIOD! My braking isn't good just 99 percent of the time or at every 100th stop light that I come to I would likely be killed. This is how I feel about ABS. It is not a fool proof system which it should be if it is regulating my brakes. I almost...

    ABS promotion or ABS deception?

Thankfully, the government and insurance companies are there to save me from myself. ABS should have an OFF switch. I have the most technologically advanced motorcycle on the planet and the ABS has almost killed me twice. Braking at a low speed approaching the sidewalk in s gas station parking...

Where is the moto industry headed?

There WILL BE more boosted models. More power and better emissions. The government and insurance companies will soon prevent us from being able to afford motorcycles. We need a revolt before this happens but all the public sector workers just keep re-ellecting the same criminals.

Motorcycles cause 10% of traffic deaths in Ontario - Sunnybrook study

Proper riding gear should be the law, just like helmets. I mean real riding gear, not textile and not the Halloween costumes the cruiser guys wear. This alone could separate riders into 2 groups; the ones who take their safety seriously and are allowed onto public roads and those who should ride...

    KN-204 Oil Filters Recall

Hi-Flo, K+N and a number of other aftermarket oil filters have leaked on my customers bikes. I won't install such filters. I will only install OEM filters or possibly a FRAM filter because their seals are a square section O - ring which seals properly. You should also be aware that many other...

    Stator rewinding

I've had 3 customers use the RM Stator rectifier / regulators and stators over the past 2 summer and had nothing but failures with them. RM Stator does provide good customer service though, they replaced the components at no charge each time. They all went back to stock components now and...

    What is the winter project.

These parts can only be "defective" if they've failed at such low mileage (7000 kms showed symptoms). Rear wheek bearing was updated for 2016 bike but my friends 2016 and my 2017 have over 2 mm of play at edge of wheel. Bike shudders hard on the brakes when coming down from high speeds (over...

    What is the winter project.

13000 kms on the new bike this year but have to get some warranty work done such as rear wheel bearings and front brake discs. I'll measure supercharger impeller axial run out to see if that's a problem yet. New tires and brakes, clean DNA air filter.

Sore Balls after only a day of riding

My butt gets a lot sore than by balls but it's about twice the size of my balls. This only happens on 1000+ km days. I've been wearing spandex bicycle shorts under my leathers for almost 30 years and it helps comfort a lot. I know you're talking about something more than being uncomfortable...

    Stator Cover Replacement

If a stator failed due to a short and it overheated the winding your oil is contaminated with burnt epoxy from the winding insulation which is abrasive so the engine oil MUST be changed. If it's just a cracked cover then the oil can remain.
