Hot n humid after all the showers rolling through last night. 31 feels like 33.
Cyclone spinning up stronger to Cat 3 but unlikely to impact us
Tomorrow looks good for a ride. Definitely cooler now as sun moves.
Maybe ride across the Daintree as the ferry still free and have a full tank.
Will...
Glad I rode yesterday
Lovely sleeping weather - 24 at 2 am
Milk and Anzac bikkie late night snack. I d wish milk would stay cold for a few minutes.....sigh. Pissing down can hardly hear for the rain.
Well if someone offers asking for the CB500F I'd buy this - pocket the extra money. Honda PCX150 with a top box mount which I really would not need. Lots of storage underneath the seat. Fully automatic. Not sure about longer rides tho.
8ltr tank and 100 mpg. 110 kph capable. Very similar to the...
More completely set up on the bike - spare this or that. Forgot the camera but will use the phone for the moment. Not quite the time of year for birding.
Spare meds, extra water in the top case, snack in the tank bag and spare clear glasses for rain events. Spare cable for charging whatever tho...
My condolences :sneaky: :D
Apple drives me crazy at times but at others I'm quite taken by the ease of integration.
I didn't set the watch up to integrate with Audible ...it just did. So can start and stop the book from my wrist.
Wow - impressive
Yes my watch sends alert as long as phone in proximity which it is.
When I'm riding I'm always listening to Audible.
At home I've finally got into the habit of keeping my phone at hand as partner does.
So many places want to send a login code I've given up the protesting.
Stumbled on this - very impressive restore
She was the Fastnet winner 100 years ago. (y)(y)
very impressive handling that solo.
I enjoyed that big time .....a universe away from the crazy going on in the world.
Having the kickstarter saves Noraly again. The slightly larger screen on the MacBook Air brings her view alive.
She was beat after that adventure.
"She gets by with a little help from her friends." 🎶
Off to cheap brekkie deal and a ride up the the coast tho maybe I should go south into the...
Enjoying my new toy.
44 mm face, GPS and cellular $60. Still a big learning curve. :D
Got the fall alert set up useful both at home and riding.
Gotta love rich folks selling their cast off tech for cheap.
some cool stories
I'm certainly a candidate for the fall detection at home due to my...
Had ride planned for today - showers kept rolling through. No joy.
Cyclone not far but heading away.
IF it comes ashore would be south of us.
It is still kicking up winds tho. 40 knot gusts tomorrow
.....
Enjoying my new toy.

Damn these Australian Survivor seasons are long.
Just finishing Season 1....54th day 🍿
Final challenge far worse than anything the US Survivor seasons faced.
6 hours and 20 minutes before the first of three dropped out of appalling conditions.
Tough these Aussie competitors.
Actually like...
Ugh ....wading my way through Australian Citizenship application. Lucky my parents were homebodies - had a hard time recalling mums bday etc. At 77 some of these details are tattered in my memory.
Kids bdays okay - sisters details very foggy.
Worst one so far is travel for the last 10 years 🤪
I...
You just triggered a memory from Japan.
When I first went to Japan in the 70s I could book a mid level commercial hotel beside the Imperial Palace for $69 US a night including breakfast (the food choice I found strange but very tasty ).
The last time I visited Japan in 1982 on my honeymoon we...
So the problem could be much wider spread than is actually reported/known.
Not that I'm advocating for a change in reporting policy ...just wondering if it's a bigger issue than what can be observed through media.
This is the shocker given how many vehicles are on the move.
