The nemo FILO pillow is worth every penny. I have one, I think I have two actually. I did have one of thier airbeam tents a while back. Can’t remember the name of it.....I did not like it at all. Couldn’t sell it fast enough. I like my exped tent because the inner and outer are connected and...

After what I saw tonight, I think I'm going to sell my SS

I ride differently on both my bikes...2008 f650gs and a 2004 hayabusa. I poke along on both actually but sometimes I want to play a bit and the busa is great for that. I play by myself and I am very careful where my playground is. I have EVERYBODY and I mean EVERYBODY pass me when I am on the...

Half the asking price, but I'll pay cash!!

I just remembered a CBR I went to look at a long time ago. While I was there, he had some other guy looking at the bike at the same time and then was on the phone saying “this guy on the phone says he will give me more than asking, he is five mins away”.....trying to play 2 people off each other...

Half the asking price, but I'll pay cash!!

I have bought many bikes off kijiji sight unseen. I ALWAYS call and chat with the seller. What do we talk about? Bikes, of course. What we had, what we want, what we didn’t like.....I am building a rapport with the seller and I genuinely enjoy talking bikes. When it comes around to discussing...

In case you change your mind and go through the states, stop at Aerostich in Duluth. Always something interesting parked out front and lots of fun wandering around looking at all the stuff we can’t get/don’t have here.

suggestions for riding out west/colorado/utah/ ect.

No it doesn't but last year I put a zip lock bag of ice in my back protector pocket but it didn't work as well as I would have like, it was way to low on my back.

I have another question.....since I have never ridden out southwest, am I going to die from heat in my Klim overland? The venting is decent, better than the latitude, imo, but will I still find it unbearable? I don’t currently own a mesh jacket so I’m thinking I should pick one up. I have no...

Wonderings.......I have been looking at my Colorado map but I keep thinking I would probably find Utah more interesting. Or New Mexico.....Santa fe! Something that is dramatically different from here. I have done mountains , in Europe, in Mexico, in WV, western Canada, and they are fun and all...

I can't imagine the masking tape lasts to long in the rain. I have paper that fits into my map pocket that I write the days route onto. I slide the old one to the bottom and replace it with my new days route. I keep them and have fun reliving my trip. I too am distracted by a gps. Plus I don't...

you mentioned some brands that say they are waterproof, the sentry? and the "troy"? in pants? you will have no fallback when they aren' "waterproof" ....and they won't be. I fell into that trap years ago and learned a wet and expensive lesson. but I think it' a journey we all make with our gear...
