    This character followed me home…

I cut the red bar out of the middle, then got long enough bolts to relocate the red lifting points to outside of the frame making it roughly 4" wider and much more stable. I've been using it that way for 8 years now. I've left my Dyna on it for long periods during tire changes and built 2 custom...

Has the city lost it's mind...

There are plenty of bad people in history and in the current world who use their big brains for evil. There are many people I've met over the years with big hearts that are just not smart.

Has the city lost it's mind...

Nothing against being pro-active. Just saying that they are saying that they can't solve crimes that have actually hurt people because of a lack of resources. I'm not sure that there is that much of a correlation. Millions of people write mean things online everyday and it doesn't lead to...

Has the city lost it's mind...

So the police show up for a mean letter but they don't have time to investigate actual crimes like thefts, assaults, car accidents, etc. I don't know exactly what the contents of the letter said but at the end of the day "sticks and stones"

Will pay experienced rider to inspect possible bike purchase

I sold my 2009 (newer generation) in 2012 for $2100. Clearly I'm not up on the current beginner bike market. I wouldn't have payed $2500 for that bike 10 years ago.

-Own 2 Harleys -Own 1 t-shirt. It came with the bike and hangs on the wall of my garage. -Own 1 small helmet but haven't used it yet this year -zero tattoos, yes to facial hair -only leather is my Dianese jacket (it is all black though) -confident that I'm not tough

    Anti BLM? You decide.

Heard a great rap lyric the other night: "Never rolled the gixxer or the R6 or the Honda, But I flew my Ducati across North America like Wakanda" from "Jesus Lord" by Kanye West (since we're on the topic of anti BLM musicians anyway)

    BOC Hits 5%

South East Asia. Speaking in broad generalizations Cambodia, Thailand, Vietnam, Philippines have the best labor. They show up, work hard, don't complain and pride in their work. If we hire someone from SE Asia to work in the factory, the HR manager literally asks them if they have any family...

    BOC Hits 5%

I went to Norway about 12 years ago. Canadians would not accept their way of life. They do not have pick-up trucks, they do not have subdivisions of detached homes, they do not go out for dinner. They do pay their waitresses nearly as much as their engineers which left every Canadian there...

Tapered brass threads will seal off on straight threads. Crank down hard or use teflon tape. We do it often when plumbing pneumatics at my work.

    BOC Hits 5%

When I was younger, I was hanging out in an apartment with my crack/coke dealing friends. One of my work friend's had a girlfriend in the building and a group of work friends stopped into the crack dealing friend's house one Friday night. One of the work friends used the term "Crack head" in a...

Any GTAM'ers own an electric vehicle?

I like to see the investment (I work for a supplier who's parts are needed for ICE and EVs) My concern is that the basis for these battery plants is that we have the minerals right here in Ontario and plan to have them out of the ground by 2025. Problem is they are way north of anywhere that...

Motorcycle that I bought has a Lien

I bought a bike with a lean and the guy was upfront and knocked what was owing off of the price. Service Ontario would not let me register the bike in my name until the lean was clear. I went to the bank that had the lien and they wouldn't let me pay off the lien. I had to send the money to the...

    Bikes with character...

I have an old notebook at work and came across a pro-con list from when I was looking at similar bikes D.Scrambler vs Thruxton vs V7 (don't remember if I was wanting racer or stone this day) My biggest worry about the Guzzi was if I ever dropped it and damaged a cylinder head. In the end I...

You answered your own question. Some bikes, usually Japanese, do not have any distinctive characteristics. They are practical, perfectly engineered machines that push no boundaries. Like the the CB500x

    unclaimed $70m lotto max

https://globalnews.ca/news/9716708/70m-lotto-max-prize-unclaimed-will-expire/ It says that the winning ticket was sold in Scarborough and that the place had no security cameras. How many places sell lottery tickets but don't have cameras. It can't be that many. $70M if you can guess right and...
