Group Ride Ignores ‘Groups of 5+’ and ‘Physical Distancing’

I love being a street hooligan, love riding fast and love pulling wheelies any chance (I) get. Can you please leave me alone now?

Group Ride Ignores ‘Groups of 5+’ and ‘Physical Distancing’

I think my first phone was an LG with those fancy slide out keyboards. Camera had all of 1.3 megapixels. The very definition of potato quality :p

Group Ride Ignores ‘Groups of 5+’ and ‘Physical Distancing’

Honestly, you guys had it good. No cameras/phones to capture all the dumb **** we all have done at some point (riding or otherwise). Simpler times.

Group Ride Ignores ‘Groups of 5+’ and ‘Physical Distancing’

Was a good ride, sucks that we got rained out on way back, hands and butt were frozen! Nowhere near the claimed 40+ people thankfully. Yea, it was a big group and I'm not a fan of that but once in a while it's alright. But we all kept together and I thought it was well run, no issues at all...

The Official Ongoing Kitchener-Waterloo and surrounding areas thread

FYI, up in Terra nova, bridge 7 and 9 is out! You'll have to take a detour and turn onto 2nd line up in Terra Nova. Still some great roads out that way! Supposedly the work will take until September, which is pretty surprising considering the size of the bridges are so small. Ah well.

Anyone have experience with these bags? Thinking to pick one up for the MT for some longer trips https://fortnine.ca/en/nelson-rigg-cl-1060-s-sport-tail-seat-bag-cl-1060-s?

    Bar end mirrors, worth it?

I just put them on the MT09. they're a pain in the ass to see out of (mostly because of the size & magnification) but they look way better and I'm willing to try them out. I used a spacer with the OEM weighted bar ends so I have no vibration. I figure it's just a matter of getting used to. The...

Moto-D and Woodcraft Warmers put to the test

I've just picked up some SVRacingParts warmers, so far so good, I am very happy with them. 3 heats settings is a nice touch. Hard to pass up at $270 a set, still have 3 available if anyone is interested.

MaxWrist: MOST HORRIFIC MOTORCYCLE CRASH OF ALL TIME!

What a clown, but that old dude bitching about their riding is a bit out of place too, not exactly the time to be doing that. Also, if I recalled correctly, wasn't the max wrist guy in jail for beating his kids, sodomy and a bunch of other stuff? Classy guy...

    23 M1 S1000RR $12000/yr

Riding without insurance fine is (starting at) $10,000 but they have to catch you first, no issue with a liter bike ;) The above is a joke, doing this is a bad idea, as is a S1000RR as a first bike

Is my tire still safe to use?

Great choice, I wouldn't run anything else on the street (If you do a little more with your bike than putting around)

CTMP Aug 29 with Riders Choice

Yea, I agree. There were some sketchy (at best) passes being made that were totally unnecessary. It's a track day, not a race. I think more people should carry that attitude you mentioned into Mosport; ride a notch below to give you some safety margin. It's a track you ride to simply enjoy...

CTMP Aug 29 with Riders Choice

Who went? What did you think of the track and overall day? For me, it was my first time at CTMP and wow, what a track. It's unfortunate that we only got 1 session in before lunch and will all the crashes and long downtime. Is that typical for CTMP? By the third session I started getting more...

Post up PICS of members bikes?

Definitely ride them. I find the suspension is more than ok for street use. Suspension travel != bad suspension. The 09 felt just fine cornering and we have a buddy with one who has no issue keeping up. At the end of the ride, he's a lot less sore than us SS losers are ;)

Post up PICS of members bikes?

The rear shock felt fine, lots of travel and decently planted while cornering. The 2017+ gets adjustable suspension which is really nice. Worse in what way? I'd say the MT10 shock is likely better for cornering feel & precision vs the 09 more catered for everyday comfort. I have heard people...

Post up PICS of members bikes?

Riding position is nearly identical between the MT10 and the MT09 but I like the way my knees fit into the 09, have a seat on it and notice how the gas tank tapers to allow your knees to lock in. A large part of this is attributed to the loss of a cylinder making for a lighter bike. It also feel...
