Best way to try new bikes

Demo Rides this year were great. Got to ride 11 types of Harleys, 5 different Yamaha's,the best ride for me was at Brampton Powersports. I got to ride the GSXR1330 Busa, my best test ride yet. Also, I borrow or swap bikes with my friends. Now if I could only find reasonable insurance, a Busa...

    Gps

Bought a cheap CTA Ndrive on sale for $39 and zipped it in the clear plastic pouch on my tank bag. Work well for me all season. Battery last around 3 hours. Need to wire it to the battery. Also used the suction holder on my tank with no problem. Also carry a map - just in case the GPS dies. Cheers

    How to winterize?

Rotating the tires should help avoid flat spots. You can hook up the battery tender with out removing the battery. Be careful about storing a bike in the bike in the house with a full tank of gas, it might be a fire and health hazzard if it is store near a heat source like a fireplace, heater...

    From CBR125 to GS500?

Been riding a GS500F the past year and find it is a great bike to learn basic riding skills. But for Spirited rides I find you need to keep the revs over 6000K and higher to just keep up with other sport bikes. In today's group ride I borrowed a 2006 Suzuki SV650F to lead the Group.
