I'm not going to DIY. I rather let pro's do it.
I might put off for winter though since I'm too busy riding it. And the motorcycle probably needs valve adjustment by then so I can get everything done together.
$500 for a tank is very reasonable. I was expecting close to $1k.
My lovely 7...
If that's the case, I rather buy a new tank and replace. I have a set of R&G framesliders and barend protectors so saved the stator cover.
It's a tool to me so that's okay. I'm sure the guy is having the worst time of his life so I hope that made his day better and off the streets if he was...
There isn't much damage other than those three areas.
The stator cover is scratched so just need some paint. It's a brand new model year for this model so nothing online. I asked the guys at Honda so let's see how much the tank costs.
I rather pay guys near me to do the work than searching...
When I ride on Hwy. 7, I always make sure I have enough space on the opposite lane for a quick getaway.
Oddly, I think having a powerful bike helps a lot to get away from these morons.
I also think police should catch those on cellphones rather than handing out those speeding tickets.
Fyi, Rotella isn't the quality oriented. They are more budget oils. There are reasons why people still don't use them even though they are cheap.
Motul 7100 makes my engine and transmission shift so much better. I rather put honda dyno oil over Rotella.
With deductible and all, I'll just pay for the repair. Tbh, I'm not the type will cry about damage like this. I can put a sticker there for now and get a new bike next year. However, even if I want to trade this in, it's better for me to fix and trade so might as well enjoy the new look until...
I've been having a great year riding without any problem, but that ended today when a homeless guy kicked my bike while I was using the bathroom at Tim's. He was already gone by the time I came out of the store and people in the parking lot told me what happened. There is no point of trying...
Full earplugs with more than NRR 30db. You really need to get used to it. I know people think you can't hear anything, but it's actually the other way around. They lower the volume down enough that you can hear surroundings and people around you. I use drive-thru all the time.
Also, I have...
That's what my friend used to say. Until his wife divorced him and took everything from him.
Most of the mgtow guys are never been married like me. Usually have a gf that they share their life with.
It's not a dealers' issue. I think they get the parts from the distributor next day. I think it's just the OP wants to find the cheaper solution.
Can you imagine having all the parts in stock for the past 13 years different models? Not to mention how inefficient to have all the parts in...
