Even if I was paying $1000/month for a bike and insurance it would take almost 20 years to save up a proper down payment (20%) to buy a house. Not really helping that much IMO but I guess it could make a big difference for some depending on location and the property you want to buy.
Yes. I would not modify a plate. Maybe touching it up a bit which is illegal but will likely never get you charged unless you repainted the whole thing.
And yes, as mentioned plate frames are also technically illegal but considering how common they are I highly doubt a frame will give you...
Lots of people use them as dashcams on their bikes.
I thought it was technically illegal to have stuff attached to your helmet in Ontario, although rarely enforced.
Saw a video where a guy got hassled in New York for the same but when he tried to get the cops to give him the actual law they...
I believe the #2 option on the first post is nicest for your synchros and makes shifting easier if you've got worn synchros. Seems to work well to make shifting smoother in my old cars anyway.
Still using my first car plate that I ever got. Supposedly if they start peeling and you catch it early enough you can get a free replacement. Pretty sure using an unreadable plate is even more likely to get you pulled over than using a cover although based on what I see on the road neither are...
I'll do some filtering but I don't considering what I do to be full on lane splitting.
But if someone blocks me like happened here I don't freak out like this guy. I understand it's not really legal so I can't blame anyone for getting pissy about it. I'll still be annoyed but I'm not going to...
You were the person I was referring to, lol.
I just hate that the front fender is in the footwell. Found them very annoying to drive for long distances because of that.
They come an AWD which is a bonus to me.
We were told at work that GM no longer sells trucks with the full cab and the full size bed. Don't know if it's true but all our trucks have short beds now.
I've seen a member here haul 2 bikes inside a GM Safari. Looked like it worked well. Edit: Just saw the post above and I believe it was...
If traffic isn't moving at all doesn't that mean the left lane is free from overtaking traffic? It can't be overtaking anyone if it's not going anywhere. If traffic is moving you're not filtering, you're splitting.
Bike was in pieces in a basement when found. Abandoned by a tenant in an old house a coworker was renting out. He made a deal with another co-worker that if he gets it out of the basement he can keep it. Other guy got some friends and hauled it out. Went to the MTO and somehow got it registered...
