I've found automotive mechanic shops often have a mechanic with a motorcycle endorsement who can do safeties; even places that aren't known for working on bikes. Just call/ask around.

Saw the aftermath of a crash on the 407 at Lakeridge Rd. This afternoon. Ambulance leaving, wrecked bike. 5 or 6 other bikes pulled off to the side. Later read that rider was taken to hospital without vital signs. Careful out there everybody.
