That bearing has no seal on one or both sides because the design of the carrier and the spacers and the external seals is supposed to seal the dust and water out by other means (e.g. separate seals). You can (and I would) substitute it with any deep-groove ball bearing with shields or seals on...

You have to look it up in a chart. All of the bearing manufacturers have one (and given the industry-standardisation, they all contain the same information, although some might be easier to use than others).

disclaimer: I had a tiny role in this project prior to retirement. It's the same bones as the Silverado EV but different styling and a few different bells and whistles. I've seen a few of the Silverado EVs out on the road.
