    2024 Weekly BurgeRR Meetup - Wednesdays @7PM

Sure I like the 427 option the best. I live almost at the corner of 403/Winston Churchill. I’ll shoot you a PM.

Where do you guys go for new tires?

Did he apprentice for Keith? Keith was a good friend of mine who told me that Ted apprenticed under him while at a Cycleworld or something.

    2024 Weekly BurgeRR Meetup - Wednesdays @7PM

I was going to leave home sometime around 6ish. Would love to not take the 401 if it’s going to be a sea of red lights, and wasn’t planning on taking the 407 either. So maybe Winston Churchill up to Norval and then ride across Bovaird to Rutherford? Nothing like riding through Brampton to make...

    Nitrogen for rear shock

Yeah I think John topped it up to 200psi. So maybe Riders Choice or Pro 6 would be the closest. Thanks!!

    Nitrogen for rear shock

I think my rear shock has a very slow leak. John at Accelerated noticed this and topped it up for me a coiled weeks ago. I’ve been monitoring it and it seems like it’s dropped a bit since then - not a lot, but I figure by next week it will be a bit more noticeable. I’m going to send the shock...

Two nights camping in Pennsylvania at Ole Bull State Park

Very nice trip! Did you like the campground? Did you need reservations there, or was it easy enough to just show up and find a spot? That area also has some really nice gravel and forest roads that would be ideal for your next trip down. Thanks for sharing that!

Anyone got a chain breaker/riveting tool I can borrow?

I use a Dewalt grinder to remove mine and also have an RK rivet tool with chain breaker, but I’ve never used the chain breaker bit. You are welcome to borrow both grinder and rivet tool and I drink water from the tap. I’m in Mississauga though, or work in west end TO.

Rules for "Fallen Riders/In Memory of" forum

If I recall correctly, the fallen riders section used to allow regular comments around 15+ years ago and it routinely devolved into inappropriate banter. Alsothe families of fallen riders also come onto the forum from time to time and that was not the sub-forum for them to be reading the banter...

    Rhinowalk Bags

I recently needed to replace my 55L MEC rolltop drybag, which after 15 years started to fail. I need something to sit on the passenger seat and use with my top case, so I don't need side cases for shorter multiday trips. Or put it on my top case rack when I don't want to bring the top case...

    Ride #13 on the 13th

It's much nicer in the winter. Way less bikes and no lineups. I might go in December.

    FYI DEER

I hit a nice sized deer one night in WV, but this was on the I79! I was way behind schedule and pulling into Morgantown at 10pm. I managed to scrub off enough speed down to around 50km/hr and was able to keep the bike upright. The deer was totally stunned and I think it got cooked by some...

    2024 Weekly BurgeRR Meetup - Wednesdays @7PM

From Scarberia to Vaughan to Whitby on the 401 can be tolerable if you do it all between 10-2pm and choose your express vs collector lanes wisely. I have the rest of the week off if I can help in any way.

    2024 Weekly BurgeRR Meetup - Wednesdays @7PM

Making a mistake is fine but that's no bueno customer service. Makes no sense and I'd be furious. You going to go up the chain and talk to someone to make that right? What kind of bike is it? I have a lift and can swap tires when they are on the rims, otherwise I know a ocal shop who could do...

    Leafs

If you have the time, ride south and check out the fall colours along the Appalachians. Higher elevations change earlier, so there can be a broader time range to see lots of colour.
