    Kawasaki to introduce Ninja ZX-4R!

What a terrible street bike this would be. I got tired of my inline-4 600cc because the thing is dead until 8k rpm and by that time you're screaming around on the street. This is just that situation multiplied. Fun light weight track bike though where you can just rip around at 15k rippems. I...

    CSBK Round 1 advanced tickets

How is the spectating at Calabogie? Are the only seats on the front straight? Track looks really good, but the spectating maybe not so much?

Why is idle adjustment so convenient?

Yes it is an unfortunate reality of direct injection... it wasn't an issue for so long with everything being port injected, people are surprised when it becomes time to have the service done because your fancy vehicle is running so rough. Can easily be a $1k job. And will need to be done...

Why is idle adjustment so convenient?

These is an extremely prevalent issue again with modern direct injected cars. Ford and some others use port and direct so the valves stay cleaner while maintaining the benefits of direct. The insane carbon buildup is an issue for a lot of German DI motors. Need periodic walnut blasting because...

The Reasonably Priced Used Motorcycles for Sale Thread

Yeah, I know. I definitely don't actually think 40 year old tires should pass a safety. Just being an idiot. Just a comment about some of the absurd **** I've run into trying to have bikes safetied. I appreciate a reasonable person. Again, 40 year old tires, is far from reasonable. :)

Those are the kind of safety guys we need more of. Bless them. These try hard 20 year old "mechanics" nit-picking over the colour temperature of your license plate bulb these days.

    Sidecar laws

I saw this insane expensive looking Harley side "car" at the forks a few years ago. It looked like a small space shuttle capsule. Super fancy looking thing with two seats, that had a bubble front shield where the whole front folded up to get out. With the front folded down, it was fully closed...

What did you do in your garage today..?

First valve clearance check for this FZ6... 7,000km late (first check is at 40,000km) but I was putting it off. Took about 2 1/2 hours start to finish, not bad. Just a bunch of things to remove to get to the valve cover since the motor is a bit tucked away between the frame. Manual calls to...
