100% I wear a Under Armor Cold Gear compression shirt in the spring and fall, and Heat Gear in the summer (pants and shirt). The cold hear keeps the heat in, where the heat gear wicks the sweat and makes you feel cooler with any type of airflow. It's good stuff. Can be used for other activities...
Is your leather jacket perforated? I have both an Alpinestars GP R Plus Jacket and Icon Hypersport jacket (perforated). They both breath fantastically well during the warm days (especially the hypersport) and keep me warm enough at night.
But to answer your question, I did get a bit nippy at...
Not too worried about it. In theory not having licence plate bulbs doesn't affect your safety. I don't think cagers or other bikers on the road would be overly concerned "Oh shoot! I cant see what his licence plate reads!" lol. If it were brake lights, headlights, or turning signals, then...
Just ordered a pair of Amazon for $14.99.....I am quite pleased.
The reason I couldn't use foam plus is because my sena speakers fit flush on my ear and my ears flop down when I put my helmet on and they'd always come out of place.
These are nice because the tuck right into the ear canal and...
I commute to 80km round trip daily to work. It all depends on how comfortable you want to be. Perforated leather jackets work well as long as you are moving. I mix it up between the perf leather and mesh. If it's going to be 25c+ on the ride home I will opt for the mesh jacket, anything below...
Although the tires are older, they are still in production. I guess they are a popular tire and instead of making an updated version they kept them as is. I forget the exact code, but they were produced in 2016.
I will most likely ride on the rear until late May or so. My inlaws live in...
Ya already noticed it doesn't turn in as well. Got 11,000 out of the 2CT rear so far.
Still plenty of groove left, even in the middle... almost seems like Michelin makes the wear bars a bit pre mature for extra caution.
How many of u scrap a tire once it reaches the wear bar strip in the water grooves of a tire? I'm almost there but it looks like there's still plenty of rubber to use up.
My rear is almost at the bar, front still has alot to go
You're either a champ, or I'm just a pu$$y! Do you have heated grips or insulated gloves? It's my hands that are the main concern with (-) digits in the AM. Half way to work my finger tips go numb and I can't even feel the brake/clutch lever ?. Leather gaunlet gloves also, not mesh perf ones
My uncle would just poke a hole though the end of his foam plugs and feed some dental floss through them and they would hang around his neck when he takes them out LOL!
Always a neat DIIY fix for almost everything
I'd suggest getting HID rather than LED with a 35w ballast. Wouldn't bother getting the HID kit for both lights, just the low beam. I've never had a reason to use the high beam with my HID kit..they light up the road extremely well.
What type of headlights do you have? Are they normal lights...
Yup, same here. They def do the job!
I also have one of these: Alpinestars Open Face Balaclava
The A* one is pretty expensive, but its been through hundreds of uses and a couple dozen washes and is still like new. You get what you pay for. Wicks moisture inside the helmet and feels cool on the...
You are fine doing that.
I rode an R3 for 2.5 years and the majority of the people on the R3 forum ended up swapping out the crappy stock tires from 140/70-17 to a 150/60-17. We did this because it was hard to find a good sticky tire that was available in the stock size.
It's totally up to you...
what do you mean there is no VIN? You can't physically see it on the bike or when you enter the vin nothing comes up in the system?
If you have a bike that was purchased in the USA you will not be able to look up the VIN#. My bike was purchased in Florida (owner lived there for 4 months of the...
