By any chance was the Yamaha red/white then made into a track bike? I sold my old R3 to an exchange student from Hong Kong that wanted to make it into a track bike (mommy and daddy had a ton of money). I'd buy it back in a heartbeat and whip around the track on it lol.

The PCV ground directly to the negative battery terminal and its solid, along with the Throttle Position Sensor tapped wire. Haven't sorted it out yet, I just at least have an idea of where it's coming from. I can still ride as its so intermittent and won't cause any issues until the connection...

Nah I have a power commander. The TPS tap wire is solid (was moving it around last night and nothing happened until I moved the actual harness). I have ruled out the PCV. It's an intermittent short or ground somewhere in the main harness. I'll check what i belive to be secondary grounds first...

Update! Bikes been running great after I replaced the missing bolt under the gas tank that connects the tray where battery, ecu, and main relay sit in (1000km or so). No connections were rattling around anymore under the seat and all was good!. Well darn...it came back to haunt me last night...

If you want to go a cheaper route, but still get a quality product I'd go with the DDM 35W HID kit. Should take no more than 10 minutes to put in as its all plug and play. Been using DDM for over 12 years with zero issues in cars/bikes.

I've seen A LOT more bikes in the HOV lane on the way to work in mornings on 403 than usual. Saw 3 today. 2 cars pulled over, but no bikes. Does the OPP just not care because within 2 weeks it may be legal and don't wanna waste their time?

If they are going in the trash I just cut mine and then pour some isopropyl alcohol in the grips, swoosh around and slide em on...they dry quick and never slide. Hair spray will work also, but I find the grips shift around in the summer when they sit in the heat.

I gained HP and my AF ratio is dead straight. I threw the K&N filter in immediately before Spoeedlab tuned my bike last summer. Would have just kept the stock filter if I wasn't getting a dyno tune.
