next option is to drive out there and trailer it back, i can get some riding done (1000km) on the way back as well. But with work and family this is not a viable right now
that's why i asked here if anyone has had any recent dealings with them. I have called them since yesterday and asked for a quote, called again this morning and have not received a reply yet (may be they are busy)
website, media and reviews got me excited that they deal with vehicle transport only
yes my friend, we worked out that a simple freight crate shipping is not worth it (dont want my baby being handled like cargo) + nobody wants to insure the full amount of the bike.
Anyone use them recently ? Getting a new bike from Saskatchewan, was thinking of making the drive to pick it up but came across tfx international shipping. Seems like they ship high end exotics a lot so its peace of mind that they will take care of the bike rather than crating it and sending it...
For some reason I am not liking uship, waiting to hear back from TFX. Seems like they know what they are doing, hopefully they can help me out.
Appreciate the help bud !
I asked in insurance section of the forum, trying to reach out to more people who might have experience with such situation
Looking to get a new motorcycle shipping from Saskatchewan to Ontario. Looking for shipping company that will ship and insure full value of the bike.
If you have any...
I am trying to purchase a bike from Saskatchewan but the only thing we cant figure out is the freight insurance for the bike while its in transport.
My insurance wont cover the bike until i have it here, is there a company that you can refer to that takes care of freight/cargo insurance while...
did you get shipping insurance. For me, everything is good, but the shipping company or my insurance wont cover the fright part of it.
Im now looking at third party insurance companies that do fright insurance.
its like finding a unicorn, i was able to locate one in Saskatchewan, anybody know how taxes would work ? pay their portion of the tax there and then pay the whole 13% in Ontario ?
In the market to buy new R1, everyone is saying they cant get them for this year. I am not so experienced with out of province shopping but will i get lucky if i go out of province looking for one ?
Thanks gurus !
