I’ve owned a few different bikes over the years, zx636, vfr750, Cb500x and others.
I really enjoy this cruiser now and the best part of having this ride is I get to ride with my #1 passenger with plenty of comfort and I’ve added a few parts to get plenty of smiles per mile (km) :)
Also, residential gas appliances using the venting mentioned above ( corrugated/metal direct vent or B vent) those vents are rated for lower temperature rating then what a solid fuel equipment produces.. If someone crazy tried to toss some solid fuel ( wood logs) inside a gas F/P...
A natural draft direct vent water heater uses a vent termination similar to a f/p, they were used in mobile homes before direct vent power vent units came around.

I like the get up & go on mine.. and I’ve added a few items to make the smiles per mile go even more. It’s funny showing some of my Harley’s buddies how slow they really are.. lol

Polaris is committed to having parts till 2027. Only small issue I’ve run into is there’s not a large amount of support for aftermarket parts and accessories anymore. There’s a few places in the states, Kijiji or eBay if you want handlebars or a exhaust etc, etc. But I’d guess the OP would be on...

Just curious what’s your budget for the sportie and why do you want one? What kinda riding do you want out of it? When I was looking for a new to me bike the small tank really put me off with the sportie.
Back on food track, the chip stand on the top end of Arthur st in Elmira by Elmira pet food was good before covid, not sure the hours now or if it’s open much with covid days. Also Elmira donut & deli was( is) great spot to go
from my limited knowledge and conversations with folks in Elmira and area.. a lot has to do with the church they belong to. Old order or new order, the church makes the rules and the group follows.
Natural gas generators if gas is out front.. if not diesel gennys. I like the shops that have all the tools and toys and use the heat from the gennys exhaust for ice melting the front concrete pads.. hydro grid = no go, natural gas grid = yes please.
