Finally I hopped on my bike yesterday. Rode it from London to Kitchener. I loved it. It was a bit windy but still wonderful feeling to be back on top of a two wheeler again.

I don’t think I can fit hard side cases to these racks. They’re more likely for soft bags. Anyways for the beginning I’m gonna need a top case for my daily commute. What do you think about the size and shape(square, round, rectangular) I should get? Which shape is more efficient in volume?

I’m so close to finish a 2013 vstrom 650 15k km. $6000 with centre stand, heated grips, handle guards, tall windscreen, extra lights, crash bars, pannier rack, skid plate, rox risers…just bags are missing. They’ll keep it until I get m2 so will be no extra cost for me to haul it. No truck owner...

Yeah before coming to Canada I used one cylinder 400cc for 2 years. My commute was 20 km in total and most of the time in the city. I enjoyed riding that machine in the city. But when I went for longer rides on the highway, more than an hour over 100 km, vibration was unbearable in every area...

I also reached honda dealership for part inquiry just to make sure if they can find parts and service this model. I’ve been rolls regular maintenance wouldn’t be an issue since some other models share same filters etc. but there’s no aftermarket stuff since it wasn’t popular in North America...
