Not sure actually, there's a separate entrance to the basement and a family living there. my r1 will have to stay outside for now, I've got a thick waterproof cover and disc locks on that so I'm not that worried, also its at the back of the house and closed off from all sides so someone would...
Don't have a choice at the moment, the house doesn't have a garage. I plan on draining out all the flammable stuff to avoid fumes but I've had bikes indoor before and they never caused any problems, I keep them on a thick pvc mat so it doesnt damage the floor. And always have a fire extinguisher...
Getting my ramp from Princess Auto this week, figure if i can line it up with the windows just right and pick up enough speed I can get enough air to clear the railings and patio altogether. Should be easy, will ask a friend to record...
Thanks for all the advice, everyone!
Just went out and measured it and you're right. It was about 38 inches, thanks a lot for the help ?. I guess i'm getting a ramp! Thought that pickup trucks had lower loading though
I tried finding towing services, spoke to one towing company but they said they dont help getting bikes into houses, any leads would be greatly appreciated. I've seen some ramps online but only seen them being used to load into pickup trucks, I'm worried about the top step.

i really have nothing to add tbh..
gonna put it on a trailer and bring it back myself I guess. I'm 100% not riding it back on the highway again. Did the round trip once in summer and every time I overtook a truck it was a mixture of trying to get blown away from the truck or get sucked underneath it. Not worth it imo
gotcha, well I went through my share of "struggle years" doing **** work that I hated doing because it paid the bills (barely). I think if you stick around in any profession long enough without going crazy or burning out, you'll find a way to make things work. The dunning kruger effect...

While i agree that at a junior level, the salaries are really bad. Especially at places like MPC, they do get better once you have some experience. And also it depends on how good you are at your job/selling yourself etc.
I'm quite happy at the moment. But yea the IT industry probably pays way...
