    2022 Toronto indy seating

I was a big CART/Champcar fan from early 90s to probably about 2003? The race in Toronto is a metaphor of how that entire sport is doing - all just a sad shadow of its former self. For the Toronto race specifically, I never really understood the efforts Molson put to promote the race until...

    American Taliban

My better half is a big Handmaid's Tale fan, and she has been pointing out the parallels of what is happening here.

    American Taliban

I am not going to pretend to know the American law and/or judicial system. Assuming what you're saying is true, the decision may be legally/technically the right one, but the consequent outcome is going to have negative societal ramifications. This is the source of the discomfort, and the end...

Corsa Meccanica no longer a Piaggio (Aprilia/Moto Guzzi/Vespa) dealer (?)

That's a good displacement to get started (y)

Corsa Meccanica no longer a Piaggio (Aprilia/Moto Guzzi/Vespa) dealer (?)

From what I hear, it's a lot of bike - might not be wise for a first time bike. As cliche as it sounds, starting on smaller displacement is the best move. I think a 250/300 is a good start for sport/touring types.

For me: watching videos after they've been posted are fine. Stream/quality no issue. Watching live is hit and miss. Sometimes, it's good. Other times, I have to tune down the quality to 720 to avoid any buffering. Rarely, but not never, I can't watch. Its just way too choppy. And yeah...

2022 MotoGP Discussion (No Links - Contains Spoilers!)

The rumour mill is speculating that Morbidelli is safe for next year. He is a VR46 rider and Yamaha do not want to scorch that earth... I think VR will accept if FM does not get renewed in 2024 (end of FM's contract), but cutting a contract early will raise VR's ire. While I don't think VR...

Yeah, the product is not great this year. I don't know the solution but I keep hearing from pundits, it is at least one of: 1. rear shapeshifter 2. aero 3. tire construction I don't know what will fix it, but not doing anything won't make the racing any better. Re: Bagnaia, only thing I can...

2022 MotoGP Discussion (No Links - Contains Spoilers!)

I am not going to lie - I have an Italian background, so naturally cheer for Italian riders. It's been hard to see all the italian riders tripping over themelves. Bagnaia is fast, but he has DNF'ed himself out of contention. The most recent one was the KO blow. Morbidelli got into the...

Corsa Meccanica no longer a Piaggio (Aprilia/Moto Guzzi/Vespa) dealer (?)

I agree re: Studiocycle. I was looking to get an Aprilia. They were a very inviting shop. I have to admit I am increasingly uncomfortable with Aprilia's lack of stable dealer network though, which is the primary reason I have not pulled the trigger.

Ducati service in Vaughan, North GTA area

Generally - it's interesting how every notable attempt to sustain a Ducati presence in that area has failed. First Ride Motorycles (part of the Kahuna family IIRC) and now Maranello. Also, shame that Corsa couldn't make it work. I went there several times. I guess losing Piaggio took a bite.

Ducati service in Vaughan, North GTA area

Maranello appears to be still still open. They moved locations: Maranello BMW Motorrad: New & Pre-Owned Dealer | Vaughan They're no longer an authorized ducati dealer, but they might still be able to fix your bike.

ok, the calendar issue is fair. Selfishly speaking, the more races the better, but I am not part of the travelling circus. Simultaneously, you want money to be sustainable to keep the satellite teams afloat, what other way is there to do it? Cost cap perhaps? More races bring more revenue for...

He'll be in Moto2 next year for sure - he will be too young to join next year. I think though it's inevitable he joins motogp in 2024. I bet you will see one of the tech3 riders get a 1-year deal only.

Yup. You captured everything I am aware of as well. You even got: Rins to LCR which i did not hear, but it makes sense. I think when the musical chairs stop, you will see: In: Ogura; Celestino Vietti Out: Andrea Dovizioso, Alex Marquez, Darryn Binder, Taka Nakagami If we didn't lose 2...
