Only time will tell! It's probably clear though that Bastianini is not going to defer to be a #2 the way Miller did last year.

I hate to use this term, but Bagnaia is not an 'alien'. Truthfully, the only alien in the grid is Marquez, and even that's mostly reputational now because of all his injuries - next year will be interesting. Is Quartararo an alien? I think he's the closest thing we have to one on the grid now.

Bagnaia clearly did not have a good weekend. If Bagnaia does not win the riders championship, it is going to haunt both he and Ducati for a long time. They clearly have the best bike and they keep tripping over themselves somehow.
