Corsa Meccanica no longer a Piaggio (Aprilia/Moto Guzzi/Vespa) dealer (?)

After reading his post, I knew that answering would be a waste of time.

Corsa Meccanica no longer a Piaggio (Aprilia/Moto Guzzi/Vespa) dealer (?)

That is how it used to be 10-15 years ago, but no longer the case. My Aprilia has over 30,000kms and not a single issue. I own 6 Italian bikes and they are all very reliable.

Corsa Meccanica no longer a Piaggio (Aprilia/Moto Guzzi/Vespa) dealer (?)

This is how you can easily find out. Aprilia's records top speed and many other parameters. On the dash and on your cell. Here is mine

Sport Bike Insurance -- Who are you insured with? How much do you pay?

We are dealing with idiots these days, specially the brokers. I called my agent and asked for a quote on a 2021 Ducati Streetfighter V4S, he told me $1250 with Wawanesa, I went and bought the bike, sent him my proof of purchase and he called me immediatelly back appoligizing because he didn't...

Sport Bike Insurance -- Who are you insured with? How much do you pay?

How? I am also with Wawanesa but they don't insure 1100 CC bikes (I have the same bike as you), I had to insure it with Intact.

Best place to buy a Ducati?

I go to Peninsula, Tony and John are excellent and they stock most Ducati performance parts. I was treated terribly at GP bikes, not by Jerry but I emailed him about it and he couldn't care less. I will never buy a single part from them again.

    Tuono 660

The issue is the insurance, it is becoming almost impossible to insure 1000cc+ bikes.... quote for a 660 was $745 and for the 1100 Tuono $1860. And that is assuming they will insure you, I called 11 insurance companies and 5 flat out told me "No" and the others were as high as $3500.

Ever find your old motorcycle for sale again?

You are right, it is not a good bike to ride but great to look at.

    Itchyboots new bike

I hope it gets better. I followed her for years but last season got really boring. Each video seemed like 20 minutes of riding on dirt where she kept pointing out animals in the distance that were not visible to the viewers. I felt that her heart was not really in it, so I stopped watching. I...

    Seats on new motorcycles

My Streetfighter came with one of the most comfortable seats I have experienced, all foam. I have since upgraded it to the "comfort" verson for an even more comfortable ride. I did 6 hours on it on the weekend and no issues at all. You can find comfortable seats on newer bikes [

    New Moto Guzzi V100

Those are not good looking motorcycles. I like the griso and the V7 but these are misses (maybe nicer in person)

Apex, GP Bikes or Peninsula Imports

And I just picked up my Streetfighter. The worse customer service I ever experienced. Just goes to show you that the dealership is only as good as its employees.

Apex, GP Bikes or Peninsula Imports

We also picked up a V2 from GPbikes 2 months ago and no issues, very nice dealership to deal with. I just bought a Streetfighter from them and I ran into major issues with insurance after my broker completely screwed up (second time in less than 2 months). They were very helpful and Ginni and...
