OP is just like me it sounds like. He likes shiny bikes with lots of plastic that look cool but are actually a major pain in the ass and are terrible street bikes ?
Try riding a supersport for 3 hours on the highway, your body will be pretty beat up. Your legs will cramp and your core will be...
I have both a 300 and a 636 and I ride the R3 more, I like ringing the **** out of it ha.
1%er - by the end of the day this thread is going to have a 150 posts telling you it’s a bad idea
My ninja 636 is way faster than anyone needs for the street, and it is not an easy ride compared to other bikes - now double the horsepower and you’ve got the s1000rr.. what would you even do with an s1000rr on the street? It wouldn’t even be fun because you’d be risking losing your license...
Just block off the hoses on your valve cover and leave the pump connected. My tuner told me that most people just put marbles in the hoses of each bank to block off the smog pump on the 636 and it works perfectly fine no need to waste 50 bucks on block off plates

I heat up my rim with a heat gun while my bearings cool in the freezer and then use a drift to shift my spacer to the side and evenly hit them out with a drift and a hammer, don’t try to bang out wheel bearings in the dead of winter. Tried that with the r3 ended up having to keep them in the...

I was quoted basically the exact same price when I tested the water doing that for my girlfriend who had less than a year experience on her R3, if it was in my name with her as a secondary or hers they were rating it the same
