I fouled my plugs once going too big on my mains, had brand new plugs and as soon as I got to about 80 km/h she died on me. Had to push my bike home uphill for about 4 kilometres lol was a pretty good workout.

Plus the supersports are kind of a niche, good at what they do. Ride around a track blistering fast for 20 minutes. Really good at that, better alternatives for anything else. Mine is sexy though

It’s pretty much only once you turn 30 now that the insurance isn’t astronomical. I was paying 1600 in Toronto on the zx6r at 30 with a clean record and m. Which is still high vs my other bikes which were like 40 ish a month 600 and something a year

The ninja 400 is sweet too and so is the R3, if you can get a 2019+ R3 with the inverted front end even better

I haven’t ridden the new R6 it’s probably a razor blade just like the R1 though. I plan to use the R6 when I do the fast school next year. I have to say the 13-18 636 is not too too bad in terms of ergos, suspension and torque down low. It’s probably the most streetable out of the big 4 brands

I have a 2015 R3 that is tuned with a full exhaust some intake mod and has +3 degrees of spark. Pretty sweet R3. And I have a 2016 KRT Ninja ZX6R which is also getting done with the same treatment. Waiting on my hindle full system for that bike. I started riding dirt bikes when I was about 5...
