They loop through the cast ends of the fork that hold the brake calliper.
Fork tube is being heldin a workmate. Also used a vice with soft jaws to hold the tube reinstalling the springs and levelling the fluid.
Here is one on Amazon that will do the trick. This I would use in conjunction with straps or the large spring compressing tools.
But this manufacturer unit would allow you to exert more force than the homemade unit.
May order one to replace my home made unit...
Here is why I used with ratchet straps to compress front fork springs.
Some plumbing pipe and a few bolts washes and nuts.
Think this was the inspiration YouTube
Was very quiet on Friday and combined it with a run up through Pretty River and then back to Creemore for lunch.
Thankfully River Road is a longer ride to get there so keeps the numbers down compared with the Forks.
Finally visited on our drive to the US Open in September. Beautiful Park and lunch and desert was excellent.
Your recommendation over the years had me put it out my Google maps list.
Thanks for the recommendation and BTW it was voted as the best State Park in the US in 2021.
Looks incredible
Can add several more volcanic Islands to the list including St. Miguel in the Azores.
Lots of direct flights from Toronto and only 6 hours away.
However, not as dry as the Canaries so depending on when you visit, you can expect rain or mist and sunshine all on the same...
Nice ride in the Trent Hills and lunch in a quieter Coburg and along Lakeshore (325 kms door to door)
Good colours still in the south.

It is advertorial and fully sponsored by the bike brands but the alternative is nothing Canadian.
I look especially if it is showcasing a bike I am interested in. The PVR allows you to be selective.
Big Rock Moto is currently my favourite YouTube review as he does an in-depth review after...
Last night I saw a fire truck with lights and sirens ablaze on the Danforth as the cars had absolutely no where to go with the parking lane full and bicycle/E-bike express lane protected by curbs.
Finally a smarter driver turned down a side street and the others followed to let the truck...
@kurtrules, great photos, looks like a similar trip I did last month, but with an incredibly expensive overnight in Huntsville. ( hotel saw us coming).
Portage road and the dock are great spots for photos.
How did you like Letterkenny road?
It is one of the few roads in the Valley that I have not been on yet.
Seems to be very popular with the cruiser crowd.
BTW the Bent Anchor is seasonal so is only open for the summer (Mid -June to mid September).

The Redneck Bistro is always good and busy too. Best place in town.
The neat coffee shop east of Calabogie is excellent for breakfast

Have done the single day ride to Bogie many times, and even played 9 holes...
Nice ride report.
Calabogie/ Madawaska Valley is awesome and always great for a 2-4 day trip.
My days of Calabogie and return on the same day are over.
