I used my helmet a few times as instead of a mask. Don't forget that signs in most cases say something "face-covering is required".
In fact, I used it yesterday in Service Ontario. They were ok with it.
The ear piece is exactly the same. All bluetooth stuff attached as a module to the wires. Technically, if you have a wired version, you can just buy the bluetooth attachment and plug-in your earphones to it. I will try the trick with one ear out.. my helmet is quite snug and has kind of a...
Haha, you guys are talking about refunds.. I just got a renewal quote and it is 24+% more for the next year. Nothing changed in the policy, no tickets, claims or anything. Going to call them next week and ask wth is going on here.
So, just wanted to share my experience with the Shure SE215 bluetooth version. First of all, I decided to get these earphones because I didn't want to move my coms unit to the new helmet and was looking for some bluetooth earphones with decent sound quality.
I did some testing in the last few...
Thank you for the info! I was just thinking that I want something (tried a few different earbuds and it is so damn difficult to take off the helmet. Airpods were the worst, it felt like it will go through my head because they got caught between the helmet and my ears..
Just ordered SE215 from...
You have very different bikes in your list. It might be better not to buy anything yet and wait until your exit course. If you are going with learning curves/RTI then they will have different bikes there and you will be able to try all of them to find out what you like more. Some people like...
lol, I hope never : ) but I actually would like to test the airbag system. If it's $50 to recharge it then I would probable test it out just to see how it feels..
On the other side, I don't like that some brands require send the jacket/vest back to them in order to recharge it. Want more money...
Based on snowcity parts finder, the bleeder should cost you $5.17 + tax. There is a big chance that they have it in stock or they can get it in 1-2 weeks. Btw, you can pick up it from them and it would be free.
I chose snowcity just because they are close to me but you can choose any Suzuki...
hm.. I guess I can be considered as picky.. it's just if I'm going to spend $1+k then I want something that works for me.. and I personally don't think that a vest is a good option for me. I would rather prefer a jacket. But like I said before Helite hiviz vented jacket looks very nice.. I more...
So, based on Helite videos of the jacket, I don't think that there will be any issues with my backpack as it inflates inside the jacket. In fact, I might test it if I will buy it especially because it is not that expensive to recharge it.
For the vest.. it's not clear.. I guess it should be ok...
The reason why I personally want a jacket is that it will guarantee that I'm wearing it all the time.. If I would go with a vest then quite often I will need to put on a jacket, then vest and then a backpack (yeah, sadly but I'm often riding with a backpack).. It can be just too many things to...
As far as I understand, only e-Turtle vests are electronic. All jackets still use tether. Also, to me, it looks like their vented jacket has better airflow for summer use but I might be wrong.
There is one more thing, it looks like Helite provides maybe the best coverage (I really like the neck...
Interestingly, I was just recently thinking that I need to buy a new jacket. This thread made me think that airbag jacket might be the best choice. I do like vented hi-vis from helite. Looks like it is a really nice option for riding in the summer that offers good protection. Sadly, this one...
I've recently installed Chinese fairings.. In fact, I installed it on 2009 GSX-650F. What can I say, they are MUCH cheaper than OEM. The paint is ok-ish.. The fitment for me was not bad at all. But there are some spots that can't be fixed even with a dremel just because of the shape. The bad...
You still can come to meets and meet a lot of amazing people! Covid messed up this season but before there were many good meets like desert Mondays and so on.. group rides are fun when you find people who ride with your pace and style. I was lucky to find a few people like this here on this...
Same as for @Evoex, drop down tinted visor is a must for me. In most cases, I'm leaving home during the day and returning late evening. Having a tinted visor helps a lot during the day but at night it would be dangerous to ride with it. And carrying extra visor is just too much hassle for me...
