    3d printed parts & stuff

I'm mostly using Autodesk Fusion 360 to design stuff. It's actually fascinating to design something in the app and then see it printed. Especially "print-in-place" stuff (i.e. the items that have multiple moving parts but are printed all together and don't require assembling).. On the other...

    3d printed parts & stuff

Interesting, do you still use that hanger? What material did you use? Regular PLA? Based on my experience, PLA parts do deform a bit if they are under constant stress all the time after a few weeks/months, did you experience the same with your part?

    3d printed parts & stuff

Hey guys, I'm 3d printing and designing stuff for quite some time now and I was wondering if you've printed/designed anything for your bikes? I'm thinking about installing some dash cams and would definitely need to print some brackets for it (yeah, I know that I can just bend some metal but it...

    Kia cars

I'm lucky because I don't need to get a new car. It would be very nice and help my family but I will be totally ok with what I have now. As a result, it is much less emotional for me. I actually noticed it during negotiations with the current dealership. I think I did way better than all my...

    Kia cars

That's actually a very good idea to search individual dealership websites as well! I've checked kia.ca site (and even created a small app to get inventory for all their dealerships) but it is limited to 2021 year at the moment.. even through API calls : ( Checking individual dealership sites...

    Kia cars

The only reason why I'm questioning this dealership is google reviews. Some people said that they basically dragged their purchase for long and in the result, they just went to another dealership and got the car they wanted.. Mind you, there are also good reviews there, so it is not all white...

    Kia cars

Hey guys, I've recently decided to buy another car (a little bit bigger than what else we have). So, today, after a week of waiting, the dealership told me that they don't have this 2022 model/trim in the colors I want in Ontario.. The Kia site doesn't allow to check 2022 MY cars availability...

    New computer first world problems

I would say it depends on what you do. Did you check how much memory is used with your typical workload? Check also the"committed" amount to have an idea about how much memory your apps reserved. I personally have 64GB in my work laptop and it is a big difference for me in comparison with 32GB...

    New computer first world problems

Congrats on the new CPU! Yeah, it's not the newest and greatest but now your system is completed! I'm pretty happy with my 3900X (and it is limited to ~95W on boost), so your system should perform nicely! Enjoy it! Buy some newest games to test the system! : )

    New computer first world problems

NVMe SSDs are quite quicker than SATA drives.. If you have money and your motherboard supports PCIe Gen4 then it worth checking Samsung 980 Pro or Corsair MP600. These are quite quick! Also, how often you need to access them? They are basically "install and forget" in most cases.. Edit: Btw...

    New computer first world problems

Somehow, it works : ) I guess because of the amount of copper inside (did you check those screenshots of the internals?) Just run cinebench r23 - 16524 pts (multi core). CPU had 76C after the test but I'm sure that it was higher at some point during the test just based on the sound of the fans...

NightskyARX15: EUROCOM Nightsky ARX15 Configure Basically, it is Clevo NH5xAx model. There are quite a few brands that sell it under their names. Eurocom is Canadian and located in Ottawa.. Btw, it looks like BIOS update for this model that will support Zen 3 CPUs is coming later this year...

    New computer first world problems

My company got it from Eurocom (quick shipping, everything took less than a week). I've specd mine with 2070, cooling upgrades, 3900x without RAM or SSD/HDD for about 2500. Got 64GB DDR4 3200 RAM and SSD on newegg (they might still have discounts) and the whole system was about 3k CAD before...
