    what a ridiculous statement.

    Flying Squirrel

Yeah, I miss all that stuff too. Last year was so surreal on every level. Going to bike meetups — hell, anything at this point, would be a fun.

How much do you pay for insurance?

Yes, without question. This discussion reminds me of those GreenShield TV spots with the bald guy in the sports jacket repeating to nauseating effect "The cost of prescription drugs keeps going up"; "the cost of dental care, up", "the cost of vision care, up"... let's add to that "the cost of...

Bike meetups and moto 'hang out spots' are cool once in a while, but eventually (speaking for myself here) get boring. I've been to L&L, motosocial events, Higher Ground countless times. Now, I don't really bother. Maybe it's just the pandemic and the never-ending rules and restrictions on...

Anyone know how to fix motorcycle parts retail in Canada?

I'm looking forward to the day we'll be able to 3D print any part for any model bike, perhaps from home or a local resource. You essentially wait for the time it takes the machine to fabricate the required part. The whole idea of centralized warehouses "stocking" and shipping parts across the...

Anyone free on Thu (22nd) post 5pm to check out a bike around Oakville?

Have you ever bought a motorcycle before from a private seller? Showing up to look at a bike with a random person you don't really would be a bit odd. If you're concerned about the condition of the bike and don't know what to look for then perhaps pay a licensed mechanic to accompany you to look...

    Chain and Sprockets Change

Completely unacceptable (and unsafe). Flaring the master link requires a delicate touch. Any cracks: remove and start over. A digital caliper is rather essential to do this job correctly.

    Harley Davidson Revival Concept

Interesting concept. Electric, swappable battery. This looks like a modern interpretation of the 11F (also the 10B, circa 1914).

Anyone riding in Canada on (cheap) US insurance?

Why would you do this? Doesn't really make any logical sense. Sent from my SGH-M919V using GTAMotorcycle.com mobile app

    HICUP AT SPEED

I'd second that. What gear are you in when doing "130km steady"? I'm not familiar with the 959, but perhaps you're just out of the power band. If you're crusing 130km/h @5k or below, might explain the sluggishness you're experiencing. If all else fails, maybe you're just feeling underwhelmed by...

Recommended km before going for the M Course?

The more riding you can get under your belt prior to taking the M Roadtest the better. And you'll find the test easier. It looks like you have one year to get it: "Once you get your M2 licence, you have up to five years to finish the learning process. After five years, if you do not get your...

    Sidi boot sole repair recommendations?

Yes, these boots are bloody expensive. I use Shoe Goo but for rebuilding the area of the sole worn-away from the footpegs. It tends to break down after a couple months or so of riding but it works. In your case, I've never seen the entire sole separate like that. I would try smearing a thin...
