I don't "believe" that if minimum wage had kept up with inflation people would be way better off? The percentage of people who cannot afford rent is going up.....are you saying that has anything to do with minimum wage increasing? You have evidence that inflation is caused by minimum wage...
Currently they do not have staff....they cannot keep people in the positions. Our board currently is hiring unqualified staff for some positions. Nursing is the same. They do not have enough staff. If everyone thinks that holding down wages is a good idea go into an emergency room. EA's are in...
I never wrote that. I am posting that they have had their salary eaten up by inflation....where miniumum wage has increased relative to their positions....but if minimum wage kept up with inflation they should be making $28 an hour. So yes I think that the minimum anyone working ANYWHERE in a...
What is hilarious is what percentage of people who would be fine with it. You don't need 100% uptake. If this car works for 3% of the population that is a huge market. As a second car for point a to be in the city/suburbs it is perfect. Little old ladies who drive to church and bingo...
Apparently in the UK it is priced the same as the Mts and Svs and under the Triumph. The thing that got me was the 160 size rear...I was assuming it would be in the 180 range like others in the class.
Here is a better overview compared to the class...i agree the looks are weak.
This isn't a deal compared to an ICE bike...but compared to all other EV motorcycles it is. And for lots of people who are buying a vespa...this thing is a reasonable option Most of them do not need more than 60 miles of range. People who are looking for EV bikes are often looking for something...
They still make money....and there is a new parallel twin on the way if the spy shots can be believed.

The issue is that they make way more money in Asian countries selling smaller displacement bikes and small cars...
I have the cheaper Thule version and it has lasted me 7 years with sporadic use (off and on because of Covid). Still works great and holds quite a bit of stuff. I would buy it again in a second. Adds about 1l per 100k to your fuel use and more when it is windy.
And the light cloth in the Cross is crappy too not just lighter. The 2k is worth it for the other things you get...but if you're looking to keep the price down I agree the interior is shite. Having said that you will wait longer for the L AWD than you will for the LE AWD.
Rav4, CR-V or Forrester will do you well. All will hold a normal sized man (250 and 6'2 is normal). But avoid recently used right now if you can find a new one. Pre-owned are priced more than new (if you have the time to wait for your new order to come in that is.)
I have these and they have a lot more protection than some of the riding shoes I have had in the past and they are quite good walking around. You can get a waterproof version as well...
