    Relay required?

I know, but for less than an amp you use a tiny wire that's limited to what it can handle. And that limit probably can't generate enough heat to light a cigarette. I'm not saying to definitely not add a fuse, just that I wouldn't feel unsafe without one.

    Relay required?

I'm with GreyGhost, no relay required. 10w/12v=0.83amps. Not sure you even need a fuse, that little amperage couldn't light a cigarette.

    Local Auto Thefts

My thoughts exactly. Cops don't want vigilantes because they render their jobs obsolete. Did the mafia learn from the cops about 'protection money's or vice versa?

Shame On Bell In A Booming Economy

If we are in a booming economy, then wouldn't that be the best time for a company to layoff/restructure? A time when those laid off have an opportunity to find new jobs with relative ease. Waiting until things are dire and potentially losing way more people during an economic downturn might be...

Why you should always wear gear...

That gate was the kids best case scenario. The kid is lucky there wasn't a car driving on that road.

    Compound miter saw

Whatever you get, make sure it has a shadow line. I have a corded Dewalt 12" slider, and a cordless 7 1/4" Ridgid slider, both with that feature. After having that feature, anything without it is archaic. I have no personal experience with it, but apparently the articulating arm Bosch doesn't...

    Incident on 403

Get a bumper that matches from a scrapyard, spend $100 on a socket set that's on sale at CanTire, borrow a soldering iron/gun from a friend, buy some shrink tubing, borrow your wife's hair dryer, buy a few cans of IPA, watch soem youtube videos, and set aside a Saturday. Total cost will be...

    White Sharks

I have great news for you. You're way more likely to die during the car ride to the beach with your surfboard than by shark attack. Hope that makes you feel better.

    Incident on 403

www.car-part.com for the bumper cover and other parts you need. Find the bumper in the same colour to avoid painting. Will come out much cheaper this way. And you are 100% at fault in the eyes of insurance. This is a collision claim, not comprehensive. As mentioned earlier your rates will...

No jail time for driver that killed motorcyclist.

In 29 years of driving/riding, I've had 3 speeding tickets. All of which I got in the same year. No emotional crap to deal with, no difference in driving habits, just happened that way. I'm not trying to defend her in any way, and it is tragic, but, she had no intention of causing an accident...

    New Daytona 660

I have to disagree here. Just about every track or race bike has a suspension that's been upgraded no matter how good it came from the factory. I understand that to make a bike marketable some performance corners need to be cut. If the bike comes with crap tires, a heavy and restrictive...

    New Daytona 660

Calling it a Daytona is an insult to previous gen Daytonas. It took Triumph 18 years to make the bike heavier, uglier, lower on power, and include a crappier suspension. Not the progress I was hoping for. If they wanted a sport tourer, they should have just sold a fairing kit for the ST3.

    Feds plan to melt ICE

I did put in the disclaimer that I understand it's a truck and as such inherently heavier. A friend of mine has an F250 diesel and it's pretty bad on tires as well. Not every 20k Rivian bad, but still it's every 50k bad. The solution is to limit pickups to construction companies and farms. Or...

    Feds plan to melt ICE

The problem with EV's that no one seems to talk about is the life expectancy of tires. A good friend of mine is pretty high up at Rivian and he was telling me that some of the employees there were complaining that after 10,000 miles they needed new tires. Heavy vehicle due to weight, add...

What do bike manufacturers actually make?

Cars, motorcycles, cnc machines, a ton of stuff is done this way. In house is the design, assembly and big stuff (chasis/engine), the rest is outsourced. Could you imagine if a car company made it's own everything down to headlight bulbs and wiper blades? Division of labour expanded.

    Is a CBR125 too small?

Get a decent track/race prepped R3. Then if you decide to race you'll have a decent chance (bike wise) in lightweight classes. Anything slower than an R3 will get you nowhere and the next step up, the ninja 400, is considerably more expensive.
