As of this morning, you can add a full tank of gas to the list.

Eastern European immigrant upbringing before child welfare laws. Any questions?

    Tankless water heater just burst

I installed a tankless years ago and would never go back. In almost 16 years of use I've had to replace a flow sensor that cost around $50. I would never rent a water heater.

    clown country

One day at work I was bored (about 9 years ago), so I made a list of every PM we've had since 1900, the party they were associated with, and how much they changed the debt, taking into consideration how much they increased GDP (omitted WW1 and WW2 peiods). If you raised debt by 10% and GDP by...

    Appliances brands?

Especially when they aren't running. My sister had the compressor replaced 2 or 3 times under warranty (can't remember), then when it failed again, LG got her a new fridge. Problem was 3 times she had food spoil.

Rising interest rates. Rising inflation rates. Rising gas prices. A Trudeau in power. Something seems eerily familiar about this.

Is it worth doing the m2 exit?

Can't say for bikes, but for cars that is/was completely untrue. When I was 24 my car insurance was $161/month. As soon as I turned 25 it dropped to $59/month. And I mean it was the payment following my birthday. Not a little while later, right after I turned 25.

    Ai future?

I don't think I am. Society in general has been moving in the right direction for a long time. Racism, mostly gone. Slavery, mostly gone. Gender inequality, mostly gone. Religious intolerance, mostly gone. Environmentalism, very active. Materialism, getting better (I believe). Historically...

    Ai future?

Maybe I'm delusionally optimistic, but if AI makes everything far cheaper and people need to work less, then I'm hoping people will spend more energy trying to improve themselves than crap they bought/leased/financed. Bragging more on social media about books they read and actual ideas rather...

Knives - What are you using in the kitchen??

I bought my wife a set of Global knives when we were dating. She likes cooking, I'd rather starve than make a sandwich. I think they're still ok except for one that my daughter broke the tip off with a coconut. They get put in the dishwasher....often. We've had them for about 20 years now.

    Electric Lawn Mower?

Ryobi here for a few years, would never look back. I bought it when they first came out so got a string trimmer and blower in the deal. I think it's fantastic that I no longer have to run out and start it when my wife or son are mowing the lawn. Just push a button and go. Even using the...

    Water damaged drywall

You're probably putting on way too much compound at once. Remember, it's easier to add compound than it is to remove it. Just like painting, multiple thin coats.

Durham cop demoted after crashing car on way home from bar, reporting it stolen to another police service

To add to the unreasonableness of this. If he was charged before becoming a cop, no force would hire him. But once a cop, you don't lose the job? So much horse$#!+ !

Is it worth doing the m2 exit?

I'm with MadMike on this. Yes, you will learn something, but the course is aimed at getting you to pass a test. Advanced rider training is aimed at advancing your riding ability. If I had to choose between M2X course or a race school, I'd put the money down for race school. Which is...

    What’s the deal

Are you guys seriously more concerned about a clerical error than the idea that it seems to be overshadowing? Also ignoring the fact that I've already acknowledged it. Geez. Post above edited. Great, so the limit is almost where it was 60 years ago (70mph/112km/h) when cars had: crappy...

    What’s the deal

I thought it was 120km/h, I don't drive through there often. Mea culpa. Regarding the speed camera in the school zone, there used to be one right around the corner from my house...and it was stupid. Thankfully it was vandalized a few times and removed. The reason it was stupid was that during...
