Let’s make things more expensive for customers…

Let’s make things more expensive for customers…

Out of curiosity, how many people that are complaining about inflation now were happy to receive CERB for the last two years? Just curious.

Let’s make things more expensive for customers…

Prices do come down either because of competition with other retailers, or new retailers entering the market. They do not, however, come down as quickly as they go up. The term for the phenomenon is called sticky prices. And your options will be: 1. Pay 2% premium for 1% cash back 2. Pay...

Let’s make things more expensive for customers…

A lot of people have clearly never taken an economics class. The retailer doesn't pay the extra cost, the cardholder does. You get your 1% cash back, but the retailer has unintentionally raised their prices by 3% to account for that expense. When this goes into effect, prices for goods will...

    Lithium vs AGM

I've had way more luck with lithium batteries than agm.

    TTR50 or CRF50

Depends on the kid's size. My daughter can ride decently, but she's about 4'4" and weighs in at a whopping 54lbs. She rides a 110crf now and there's no way she'd be able to pick it up. I've also seen the opposite. 6'2" and could bench press the litre bike they own but belong on a tricycle.

KTM and MV agusta partner up

    TTR50 or CRF50

I got my daughter a ttr50 when she was 6, and upgraded this year (she's 8). The estart is nice, but have some way to boost it conveniently. For a 3 year old you're probably better off with the crf because a 3 year old won't be able to pick up the bike by themselves and restart it anyway...

Anyone in Toronto with TuneECU / Knowledge?

Don't pull the headlight fuse, just disconnect the headlight connector.

    Velocity gloves

I had no idea the site was still up, thanks. As for the gloves, I've had a few pairs of Jimmy's gloves (gauntlets) and crashed the $#!T out of all of them. They all held up great and I found them to be the most comfortable gloves. I've used the original shorty style gloves for the street and...

    Velocity gloves

Is Jimmy still making these? Looking for the non-heated gauntlets if anyone has any insight as to where I can get them. Thanks.

Anyone in Toronto with TuneECU / Knowledge?

2013+ Triumph ECU's can be tuned with TuneEcu. BUT, you have to use the Android version with a bluetooth dongle. The Windows version with a usb -> obd cable does not work. That setup is uselass on the 2013 bikes. I know this for a fact as I tried my Windows version TuneEcu setup on a 2013...

    KTM 65SX deck timing tool

Before I order one of these, does anyone have one I can borrow for 10min? I did a top and bottom rebiild on my daughter's dirt bike, but need this to set the timing for the ignition. Located in Guelph. Thanks.

    Kawasaki to introduce Ninja ZX-4R!

There's no way this will be in the same price range as litre bikes unless it comes as a setup race bike with lights, which it won't. My guess is the $11-12k mark. Just a bit below 600's on initial cost, and probably substantially cheaper on insurance which will make it attractive. Without a...

Tired of my racist, narcissistic, misogynist coworker

A guy I worked with years ago said the hardest time at work is when you're smarter than your boss. I'll never forget that. My wife recently switched companies, she hated, HATED, her previous job. The culture there was like a teenage high school drama series. The new place is fantastic for...

Tired of my racist, narcissistic, misogynist coworker

Literally everyone is hiring right now for every position. EI and welfare should actually be abandoned, there's currently no need for them.

Massive internet outage Jul 8 2022

At Wonderland today. It took over almost 25min to park, then 20 min to get a ticket, and a further hour to get through the gates. But, because of the backlog to get in, once in you can almost walk on any ride. My daughter and her friend are loving it. All because the internet is down.

    🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬

Without question that would be part of the equation. I have a friend that's a retired cop and he's very much a 'guilty until proven innocent' kind of person. BUT, he would never allow comradery trump ethics. I also have a friend that's a radiologist and to him everyone has cancer. There's no...

    🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬

To be honest I'm surprised more cops don't go after these types of cops. I firmly believe the vast majority of cops are decent people and their profession is tarnished heavily by the 5-10% of it's members that don't deserve breathing privileges. Not only would removing them make the good ones...

    Where to by decent sockets

That happens even if torqued to spec *if* there is rust on the hub of the rotor/drum that the wheel mates against. As the driver accelerates/brakes the rust wears down and leaves a gap between the rotor and wheel. The lugs are then loose and keep loosening themselves until the drivers uses...
