Do motorcycle tickets affect you car insurance?

When it becomes apparent in court that OP never had insurance, whats stopping them from hitting him with that charge? If not then anyone riding dirty could just carry around a fake slip with a valid policy number.

Do motorcycle tickets affect you car insurance?

Double the speed limit with no plates, license or insurance. People like yourself are the reason we get a bad rap and have to fork out $$ for insurance. They are going to affect your vehicle insurance. 1 speeding violation 1 licensing violation 2 non-moving tickets (which insurance companies...

    Brilliance of honda

Honda was run by engineers and now is run by bean counters. Their products are still very good imo (10th gen civic and the Type R) but they lack that something special many of the 90s and early 2000's products had (S2000, their 90s bikes, lightweight fun econo boxes with double wishbone...

    New Yamaha R-7

Same weight as the previous R6, same ergos. They have essentially taken away 50-60 top end hp in exchange for 7-8 lbft. Should have put the MT09 triple in it instead.

Global News - Modifying your car could void your insurance

Companies believe that people who modify their vehicles in ANY way present more risk. They use the fine print of "you must make us aware of any changes to the vehicle" to deny paying out legitimate claims that have nothing to do with said modifications. I have friends in the US. Insurance...

    Can we mobilize teachers?

No vacation? That is flat out untrue. One of my best friends is a high school teacher and he laughs at all the whiners in the field. He takes home little to no work, even had time to take a part time hospital job a couple of nights a week for extra money. If you want to make the argument...

    COVID and the housing market

Precisely. Its simply not suitable for the vast majority of people from a job perspective, hence the low prices and then throw in the lack of things to do vs city life and the abysmal weather...

    Ontario doubling down on 172.

The idea that I can be hit with a $10-20K financial burden because my tire lost traction on a slope during rain is insanity.

    Ontario doubling down on 172.

Nobody should ever be convicted on the side of the road, it incentivises crooked police and tow truck/impound people to give out false charges. The requirement for a 172 charge should be video evidence. 140+ on the 407 when there is no traffic is completely fine IMO. Red light runners and...

    COVID and the housing market

How do you 20x leverage the market over the course of 20 years? Can it even be done without huge cost and downside risk? That's the benefit of real estate, when you buy you use leverage. Dont get me wrong, I like markets better. A lot of the gains in Canadian real estate the past decade are...

    COVID and the housing market

Foreign money playing a big role in this. I know of someone who came here 10 years ago and is now in his early 30s. Has 6 condos and a 4000 sqft home, afaik all paid off. Even though the money came from abroad its counted as a domestic purchase, same as when "students" buy.

The return with dividends reinvested of the S&P 500 over the period 2001 to 2021 is 401%. They put 5% down in 2001. $13100 If invested into the S&P it would be worth $65631 today..
