Very much appreciated GG. I don’t recall where you’re located but I probably will end up taking it into a shop as it seems to be very seized. I’ve been soaking it in penetrating oil as a last effort but my hopes are not high.

With a chain I’d say no generally but belts being rubber dry and crack. I’d rather do the service than take the chance.

I called multiple locations in my area and received the same response. I ultimately emailed corporate office so will see what happens.

That’s the one, it wasn’t my first choice but I will definitely let you know how it goes. I wouldn’t use it on a new vehicle but on my old Edge I’m willing to try it.

I spoke to Partsource and they still loan tools but unfortunately didn’t have the slide hammer. Hopefully the hub buster I ordered does the trick

Super tempting but probably overkill for my situation. Likely will only use it once in the next 5 years and no room to store it. I need a bigger place [emoji20]

That’s how the CT program used to work but I went in today and was told they no longer loan tools, even though it’s still on the website [emoji849]
Thanks for the partsource tip I’ll check them out. I ordered a “hub shocker” off Amazon but if I can borrow the tool from PS that’s far better...
I did contemplate this but was sceptical if it would actually work. I don’t want to get that deep in and run into problems.
Dad has a press but it’s a couple hours away and I’d hate to drive more than necessary on the existing unit.
The other option I considered is taking the part to my...
I didn’t know this but will look into it, thanks [emoji106]
Edit: I had forgotten about this program, I used it years ago for a spring compressor to put Eibach’s on my mustang

Beyond the Venturi being able to vaporize the fuel I wouldn’t imagine much but I’m no carb expert. Also I’m sure the engine is a factor as well. I know the carb on my 2t bike is more finicky than those on other vehicles I’ve had.

I’m looking to use an hydraulic press to put a new wheel bearing in my Ford Edge. I’m hoping someone in Scarborough can help me out. I don’t expect anything for free I’m just trying to minimize costs as it’s an older vehicle.
I’m near Warden and St Clair if anyone is able to assist.
Cheers...
FZ09 and YZ250. Would love to get a couple more bikes, one of which would be a cruiser for the longer rides but I don’t have the space for any more.

I’d agree to taking it back to the dealer for first service.
109 is a great shop and they actually even helped me out on a bike I didn’t take into them and was doing the work myself.
They are a small shop so not sure if they’d have aprilia specific items or not. It never hurts to call and...
Very nice! If I’m being honest I don’t remember the 500 but I was a young buck back then. Hope you get what you’re asking as I think it’s entirely worth it. Cheers
