    COVID and the housing market

There’s a couple trailer parks on Elliot side road In Midland that seem to bring pretty crazy money IMO as well. I’m not real up to speed on the difference between Modular and Mobile but there is a Modular asking $549,000 right now. Driving past the community does appear nicer then I would...

    Stocks

Keep in mind most people that borrow to invest do it in a non registered account. This way they can deduct the amount of interest paid from income and also if they did have to sell at a loss they can use those losses to also deduct from income. I know you have a different goal in mind with the...

    Stocks

The answer to the first question. Yes, I believe Purpose and CI are smarter then me and will do a better job at protecting the actual Bitcoin and Ethereum then I would. They have a lot more to lose then I do. The rest of the questions I don’t have the answer to. There is quite a bit of risk in...

I own a small amount of Bitcoin and Ethereum in ETF’s. Yeah not my keys not my coins. Makes things simple for someone like myself that doesn’t have a strong understanding of crypto, cold storage etc. BTCC-B.TO ETHX-B.TO

    COVID and the housing market

Occasionally. I like getting different viewpoints but that sub is so negative I really try to avoid it. I prefer r/TorontoRealEstate for different ideas.

    Off Road places to ride

If you want somewhere quite a bit closer try the trail loops at Gopher Dunes sometime. Fun, safe, flowy trails just outside of Tillsonburg. It’s not a replacement for riding somewhere like the Ganny or Simcoe county forest but still a good time.

    Vehicle choices

Braun is the name I almost always see when it comes to mobility products. You are on the right track with them for sure. They or their installers are going to know the best vehicles for your families specific application hands down. I would start with their suggestions and then go on some test...

    Minimum Wage Increase

I go to the one at Keele/7 a couple times a week. Nice people that work the counter just doing a job and get treated like **** by customers all day long. Try to keep that in mind.

    Snow bikes

Biggest thing with the trails is snow bikes aren't built to the standard set out by the industry as what qualifies as a snowmobile. Snowmobile Safety Certification Committee Background, ISMA (International Snowmobile Manufacturers Association)-Information for snowmobilers: snowmobiling trails...

    Snow bikes

Like you found out from the OFSC, trails are a no go with snow bikes. You need to go where the backcountry sled guys ride. In Ontario Wawa is the popular backcountry riding area. Others go to the chic-choc mountains in Quebec and Upper peninsula in Michigan. You can play around with the crown...

    COVID and the housing market

Around $4500 mortgage payment with 20% down for a townhouse in Vaughan...yeah no thanks. I work in Vaughan, its good for some people and I'm not going to knock it but I want to get out of here as quickly as possible every day. My Dad sold his place in Schomberg and bought further north. He's...

    COVID and the housing market

For me it's weird. At this point I think I've become somewhat jaded and think a detached house under 1,000,000 is pretty reasonable. On the other hand with minimum down you would need close to $200,000 income to qualify for a mortgage, even with 20% down would need probably $150-160,000 to...

Kawasaki to unveil 6 new 2022 vehicles on October 5th

Thanks for the feedback @Hardwrkr13 I’ve been on a YZ125 for the past 3 years (before that a 17 YZ450) so you describing the 300 as playful puts it towards the top of my list for sure. If I decide to buy one, like you I’m thinking a 18 or 19 so still carb. From reading online seems like the...

Kawasaki to unveil 6 new 2022 vehicles on October 5th

It's pretty badass. Just the kyb kit forks start at $4000 u.s. I believe. It's actually a decent deal with all the extras on the bike. Off topic. I see in your sig you have a 300XC so obviously you like it, have you ridden a 350XC or SX-F set up for off-road? Kicking around the idea of...

Kawasaki to unveil 6 new 2022 vehicles on October 5th

I would make a small bet the first bike beside the jet ski is a limited production KX450. Similar to the factory edition KTM’s and works edition Honda. So current KX450 with some cool aftermarket parts, monster logo and steep price tag. Probably called a KX450sr or similar.

Importing a Quebec vehicle to Ontario

If you register it in Quebec you will pay GST and PST there. Once you come to Ontario and register it you will pay the provincial portion of our HST. You can then apply for a refund on the Quebec PST, if you need the form let me know and I can try to find one. The warnings earlier are fair...

    Seeking a dependable off-road bike

A trials bike would be a cool effective way of getting around. Would have to travel pretty light. I’d like for him to come back. There’s no denying he loves motorcycles and has a lot of experience.
