    KTM 890 SMT

I'd guess a lot less than 400. I had a 2019 790 Adventure, it had a 20L tank and would do 450 kms. Got 60 mpg. Not sure how much more fuel hungry the 890 engine is, probably a little.

Saturday May 27 - Lunch in Calabogie

I'm up for it but my rear tire is done and I just ordered a new one, not sure if it'll arrive before Monday.

    Motorcycle Tire Rebates

I only looked at the metzeler one and the instructions said to print and mail, but if there's an online way to do it then that's great.

    Motul 5100 vs 7100

I've now done about 700 kms since I put in liquimoly 10w40 full synthetic, and it seems fine so far. Bike shifts identically to how it always has. Whatever issue the other guy had, it's probably unique to his bike.

    Motorcycle Tire Rebates

Too much effort. First you have to print out their rebate form (who still even has a printer in 2023?) then you have to fill it out, buy an envelope to put it in, put a stamp on it (I don't even remember how to buy a stamp) then mail it. Way too much work for $40.

    Motul 5100 vs 7100

I also just bought liqui moly, was gonna do my oil change this weekend. What's wrong with it?

How many crashes before Sunday evening?

That's just your own speculation, based on your already biased assumptions. Do you have any sources to prove any of those claims?

How many crashes before Sunday evening?

The stats show older people have the most motorcycle fatalities. It surprised me too but those are the facts. The idea that it's young inexperienced hooligans doing most of the crashing is just a myth.

    Weather

BMW vs Suzuki Oil Change Intervals

Not only that, but the same bike can have vastly different service intervals in different countries. My service manual recommends an oil change every 6000 kms, but people from Europe with the same bike (same make/model/year) say their manual says every 12,000 kms. Anyone know why this is?

Ground's still a little cold and wet... is it too early to start riding?

I guess it's fixed then. Why don't you come down through quebec on the 101? It's a nicer ride than the 144 or the 11.

    Gaspé 2023

What size of a group are you expecting? I am planning to ride the gaspe pensinsula this summer but haven't picked a time yet.

Ground's still a little cold and wet... is it too early to start riding?

When did you last do this run? I did it 2 or 3 summers ago and there is a washout around the midway point on that road. I doubt it's fixed yet.

Ground's still a little cold and wet... is it too early to start riding?

What a crummy start to the season. I'm looking at the 14 day forecast and the highs never get above single digits. Most years I will have taken the bike out at least once in March. :(

    Lets Talk Tires

I think Dunlop hit it out of the park with the Trailmax Missions. They are very smooth on pavement and I always felt confident with them on spirited rides on twisty roads, I wasn't quite dragging knees, but pretty close. They are also long lasting. Off pavement, I found them much better than my...
